Often, the value of actual hospitality is underrated in the hospitality industry, and it's overshadowed by fancy facilities and frills. Not at Gran Hotel, where the staff treats you like their own guest. They are warm and will go out of their way to help you out. Oh, and the hotel itself is a heritage site with exceptional facilities & a location to kill for! Absolute, must visit. If I am ever in Mexico City again, I am staying at Gran for sure.

Proximity to the main square, the view from the Balcon de Zócalo, the breakfast, very accommodating hotel team. Also, they have unlimited options at a small cafe on the same floor as the reception, so you can ask for any items listed in their menu, which are complimentary as part of your booking, with an exception to some specific alcohol options. On the 1st floor, there is a gym and a sauna, which I had a chance to try. It’s good.

Located in the bohemian neighbourhood of La Condesa, this accommodation is surrounded by stylish bars, restaurants and unique shops. Paseo de La Reforma Avenue is 10 minutes’ walk. It is down to earth and charming. Hector was welcoming along with all the staff. The food was wonderfully homemade. I think some rooms are maybe nondescript/more modern, with others of the original style and beautiful. We had Room 8 - beautiful. Our son had #1 - modern but perfect for him.

This hotel, with patios and gardens, is situated in Mexico City’s Cuauhtémoc neighbourhood. It is just a 3-minute walk to Paseo de la Reforma Avenue, and less than 2 km to Bosque de Chapultepec Park. Amazing,older,gem in the city. From the photos the place seems small just a few rooms. It is massive and tons of different areas of rooms and courtyards with tables and umbrellas to sit and read a book or have breakfast. Alot of the rooms have small patios as well as balconies and terraces. Super friendly staff too.

Situated just 350 metres from the Frida Kahlo House, this family-run guest house offers charming rooms with free WiFi, TV and a private bathroom. Allende Park is a 2-minute walk away. This is a beautiful place, and the hosts make everybody feel at home. Great freshly-prepared hot breakfast, fruit and good coffee. Wonderful room with sunny terrace in a green patio, room design reminiscent of the Blue House. Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel Novit se nahaja v poslovni četrti mesta Ciudad de México in ponuja strešni bazen s čudovitim pogledom na mesto. The staff don't change, which is a good sign for the management, and means they recognize that I am a frequent and loyal guest. The concierge team in particular (Juan Pablo, Rafael and Mario) is great. The hotel design is very basic but everything is pleasant, well maintained and functions well. The food in the dining room is good and provides a decent selection at a fair price. The rooms are well appointed and clean, the beds are comfortable and there are nice touches in the room like useful amenities, robes and a small kettle. The shower and toilet always work well. The location is excellent and with the exception of the rooms facing the roof top bar next door, the rooms are quiet. I have been to the best hotels in the world and I'll say that what one gives up in beauty and glamor at this hotel one wins back in consistent quality in spades. My go to hotel in Mexico City.

Isaaya Hotel Boutique by WTC is located across from the Mexico City World Trade Center. The hotel features a restaurant and bar while guest rooms include free Wi-Fi. I love it, great place I love the shower hot and plenty of water on the showers
