Situated in the historic district of Guadalajara, Hotel Portobelo is close to all main tourist attractions. It offers air-conditioned rooms with private bathroom, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Location was excellent for my needs. I walked everywhere from the hotel, in all directions: Centro district, my resident friend's home, etc. Staff was warm and welcoming. Room was totally ready, including water bottles. I loved the restaurant: long hours, good menu. room service option (I liked better to sit downstairs with other guests.) Good setup for anyone with a handicapped family or friend travelling with them. Elevator works well. I had a large room, easy to move around in for anyone with mobility problems. Good floor plan in my room.

Hotel bersejarah ini terletak di tengah-tengah pusat bandar Guadalajara. Ia menyediakan penginapan yang elegan, kemudahan kelas pertama dan tidak jauh dari banyak tempat menarik. We made use of the bar a few times, which was good. Only tried the restaurant once for breakfast, and we were happy with that.

But what really made the visit was Lorenzo’s and Memo’s superb hospitality. Early morning coffee, a good breakfast, plentiful drinking water, personalized advice and maps, happy hour on the roof … the list goes on. Highly recommended!

Hotel Suites Nadia Puerto Vallarta is a beachfront property that has a roof top outdoor pool, terraces, and hot tub. WiFi is free. The apartments are air-conditioned and offer a flat-screen cable TV. The property offered is in a great location. Proximity to the beach and shopping.

Hacienda del Lago Boutique Hotel offers colonial style accommodation in Ajijic. There are spa services, concierge, an outdoor pool, and a Pod (Nespresso) coffee machine. We very much enjoyed the setting and the service. The ambiance was one of simple comfort and well appointed furnishings, that made it feel like a home, and a warm and welcoming sanctuary. The breakfast was very simple , fruit, roll, coffee, but you could add other items for a charge. The waffles and eggs, were fresh, and very nicely done. Love that there was a Nespresso machine in the room, to start with a good coffee. the staff were super courteous, helpful and friendly. We were only going to stay a few days, but because of the comfort and peace , we stayed an extra 2 days. We highly recommend this as a lovely stay in Ajijic, all just a few steps away , from the malecon and shopping.
