This secluded guest house is located outside the village of Tulum, only a short cab ride of the beach. The property is surrounded by tropical gardens. The room was decorated to perfection with lots of charm and character, and plenty of space to spread out. My son loved swinging on the hammock in the middle of the room. The pool was just a few steps from our room and a beautiful little oasis surrounded by flowering trees. Breakfast was delicious and included local honey.

The location was amazing, really quite and can enjoy the (private) Beach. We have enjoyed it that much and extended one more Day. The staff are friendly and attentive, plus the breakfast was very good.

Our stay at Azucar was absolutely perfect! The place is beautiful, dreamy!!!! The pool area on the beach, STUNNING!!! Everything is new, sparkling clean. The room was beautiful, tastefully decorated with quality furniture and bed linens. Powerfull AC, hot shower, large balcony with breathtaking views. The staff were all very personable and went above and beyond to provide excellent service. Xavier that took care of us on the beach is a gem and he made the best michelada i've ever had! I was travelling alone with my 6 year old daughter and we always felt safe and welcomed. She loved the pool and the direct access to the beach. Another thing to note is that the food is spectacular!!! The guacamole with chicharron, the fish tacos, the tuna tostada, the breakfasts, EVERYTHING! Quality ingredients prepared the right way. It was quiet at night and we slept like babies. There's also a stunning pool on the roof with views of the jungle and the sea. I loved everything about our stay and will absolutely return!

Located on Playa del Carmen's vibrant 5th Avenue, Unic Design Hotel is an elegant property offering accommodations just 5 minutes' walk from Mamitas Beach Club. Excellent location. The reception staff were very friendly. We could hear some sounds of artists on the streets at night, but it didn't bother us at all. The water in the shower in the morning takes a while to heat up, but that's okay. Breakfast at the Italian restaurant just below was a great and delicious option. It was really worth being at the hotel. Thanks!

Staff extremely helpful and kind always anticipating your every need and going out of their ways to satisfy guests. Room was cleaned very well daily. The bar/restaurant had delicious options and great deals for the drinks (I might or might not have drunk 12 mezcalitas on an afternoon). The staff of the bar was so friendly and the breakfast options were great!
