The kitchen facilities were excellent. Lovely natural materials were used to build the units. There also was a very nice outdoor space.

One Love Hostal Puerto Escondido offers a place with a mixture of rustic and Mexican-style decoration only 150 metres from Zicatela Beach. This place is perfect for someone looking for a something affordable that is less than a hotel but more than a hostel. It was particularly nice for me as a solo female traveler really not looking for parties but for some time to comfortably relax by the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Short walking distance from the beach and central streets.

The view of the ocean and beach below was amazing. The Catalonian Chef, John, puts this place over the top. We had 3 superb Gourmet meals here at a great price. I would recommend the hotel for the food alone.

The staff are extremely accommodating and friendly and the communal breakfast table is wonderful. All the breakfast food was delicious. Daniel does an amazing job of making everyone feel special and all of the staff were happy to do anything to make our stay memorable. We will want to return. The bed is also very comfortable.

The staff at this place are truly lovely, kind and helpful. It is like staying in a family place where so much care is given to the property and the guests. We definitely plan to go back! When requesting a room, ask for one in the courtyard, which gets lots of sun and has beautiful gardens.

O Casa de Siete Balcones Hotel Boutique está localizado entre a Praça Zócalo e a Igreja Santo Domingo de Guzman, no centro histórico de Oaxaca. breakfast was provided: fruit, coffee, bread items. For extra cost we had a choice of scrambled eggs or tamales. All was very good The air-conditioning was very good (a necessity!) and it was easy to get refills for water, as the water supply requires us to get a filtered water for drinking. The desk always had a person there whenever we arrived back from our day and they helped us in numerous ways, advising and getting taxi service, etc. The courtyard was beautiful. There are only 7 rooms, so the service is very personal.

Los Pilares Hotel is located in a charming colonial-style Oaxacan house in the neighborhood of Jalatlaco with a small outdoor pool and free onsite parking. Oaxaca Bus Station is 450 metres away. Beautiful property and hotel. Wonderful location for those interested in Jalatlaco or staying just slightly out of the center. Incredibly kind and helpful staff! Thank you for a wonderful stay! Highly recommend!

The staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was beautifully maintained and the rooms were kept very clean. The pool was bigger than I had expected. The location was great. Easy walk to great cafes, restaurants and to a lovely beach - Carrizalillo
