We were also delighted by the polite and professional staff: Kimberley, señor Miguel, señor Fabian, señor Jorge, señor Juan Jose and the rest of the team. The breakfast what was included in the price was exceptional as well. The hotel is known in the city for their breakfast and every morning lot of locals come just to eat here.

The owner from Nice gave us some of the best service we have ever received. He upgraded our room without charge for our honeymoon, drew us a map of Merida with recommendations, carried our luggage to the room, made sure we had cold water for the night, and much more. 10/10. Super cute hotel and outdoor area as well.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and free breakfast, the Diplomat Hotel is located within Mérida's historic centre, 1 km from the Plaza Grande Park and 800 metres from the Zoo. What an amazing place to stay! The hotel is beautiful with a wonderful attention to detail. Everything is intentional and looks-and smells-stunning! But the staff and owners are even better than the hotel-and that is really saying something. We were contacted before we arrived asking if they would have snacks and margaritas ready for us when we arrived. They also asked if we had any dietary restrictions. I am gluten free and they kindly made everything gluten free for me!! To include snacks, breakfast and fresh cookies in our room each day! They also made us dinner reservations for every night and made sure they knew I was gluten free. Now, to talk about my favorite part, other than the amazingly kind staff and owners. The breakfasts!!!! They were beyond delicious, and I am very picky. Each day was not only stunning to look at but some of the best food I have eaten in my life. I know their chef will have an amazing culinary career. The owners are so lucky to have found her! A huge thank you to the absolutely amazing staff and owners! I have never felt better taken care of in my life and was greeted with so much kindness!!! I hope I can come back soon!! *I’m terrible at taking pictures, so just know, they do not do the food or place justice

Casa de Las Palomas Boutique Hotel by Paloma's Hotels - Adults Only is located in central Mérida and offers an outdoor pool and spa treatments. It’s a beautiful place, good food, great staff and the decoration was amazing. 100 % recommended

Casa del Maya Bed & Breakfast is located in central Merida, nearby Merida’s Cathedral and offers complimentary breakfast for up to 6 guest, free Wi-Fi connection and an outdoor pool. Everything The two hosts, Sarah and George, as well as the team around Aaron do an incredible job. I was lucky to get an upgrade to the probably nicest room, 2nd floor with balcony. The property has many trees so even in the heavy Merida heat it is very comfortable to relax and the little pool is perfect to refresh. Breakfast is delicious and with a variety every day. My absolute favorite: the cinnamon rolls! Location is close to the center, yet really quiet at night.

Located in Valladolid's town centre, Hotel Posada San Juan has an outdoor pool, terraces and gardens to offer to its guests. Excellent location, excellent breakfast. Gabriel (manager) went out of his way to help us with care hire problems and finding a doctor. The building is beautiful, very old and interesting.

Located within Merida's Historic Centre, 1 km away from the city's cathedral and 200 metres from Santiago Park, Hotel Boutique Merida Santiago offers an outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi, and a restaurant. Comfortable beds, huge bathroom, friendly and helpful staff, great fish tacos, exceptional lattes, and an inspiring Pina Colada. Gio, the owner's dog, is old and going blind and deaf - a sweet fixture. It's a beautiful hotel in the best location, just a four minute walk from my house, which is in need of some repairs to become habitable, so I might have to extend my stay once again and adopt the staff as family. Worse things could happen.
