The hotel was totally charming with lovely plants and decor reflecting the Mexican theme and many quirky and interesting objects d'art throughout. Quiet and opposite a small park yet all attractions nearby. A real bonus to have good A.C. as well as overhead fan and plenty of hot water. Leo the owner is on hand any time to assist with advice and recommendations. Every morning I was greeted with complimentary fresh juice, excellent coffee and a pastry even though breakfast is not offered...to me this is breakfast..a lovely surprise! Stay here if you visit Merida for a unique experience.

Aaron is a total gem! He helped with activities and booking tours and was just an all around lovely person to be around. Bonus was seeing the baby too.

Centrally located just 10 minutes’ walk from Mérida Cathedral, Hacienda Mérida VIP offers an outdoor pool and a 24-hour reception. Free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking are provided. The location was great! We were able to walk everywhere which was nice. Uber was also available for places a little further away. Many fantastic restaurants near by. Check out Bacchas wine bar next door. Great Italian food and good selection of wines.

I spent 3 weeks at Merida Santiago Hotel with a broken ankle. The staff were outstanding in attending to my condition and prioritising my comfort every day. The food, cooking classes and general atmosphere at this lovely establishment are fabulous. All set in the lovely and deeply historical rich subrb of Santiago. Thank you. Lasting memories.
