The underground cave pool was AMAZING!!! Breakfasts were good. Loved seeing the tortoises wandering free. And I have to say a big Thankyou to Martin who helped us get rescued from the Cuota highway when we ran out petrol at 1.00am.

Offering free WiFi, this Mérida Hotel La Piazzetta is located on Mejorada square and 230 metres from Museo De la Canción Yucateca and just a few blocks from the Cathedral, market and Paseo Montejo. We had a fabulous stay at La Piazzetta, the hotel is beautiful, clean and has a lot of charm! It's really well situated so we could do most of the city by foot. Leo, María and Augustin are fantastic hosts and we felt very welcome. Leo is super knowledgeable about the area and gave us the best tips for Merida and around, and even for the rest of our trip, we discovered many hidden cenotes thanks to him :) A thousand times recommend!

Loved the pool area and the room was so comfortable and well appointed. I was unwell during my stay and everyone could not have been nicer or more helpful.

Owners (George & Sarah) and staff (Aron) were very helpful. The property is excellent. The breakfasts were innovative and delicious. The location was perfect for walking downtown or throughout the neighbourhood.
