I liked pretty much everything on this hotel, stayed 2 weeks ago. It's so nice to see a great eco hotel that takes care of turtles that you can feed. The food was excellent, nice and quiet without any kids around. You must visit the on-site ice shop there, it is like art deco. Also of course the salt cave is a must not miss while visiting there. There no TVs in the room, which was a nice change, you connect more to your surroundings and l9ved ones. The onsite restaurant has great prices and great tasing food. I'd say the prices are better then the dowtown area

Set in a bright, colonial-style building, Casa Tia Micha offers attractive rooms with free Wi-Fi. Located in the centre of Valladolid, it is less than 5 minutes’ walk from San Gervasio Church. Right in the centre of town, clean and comfortable and given an early breakfast so we could get to Chichen Itza. Dinner was included and it was lovely.

Offering free WiFi, this Mérida Hotel La Piazzetta is located on Mejorada square and 230 metres from Museo De la Canción Yucateca and just a few blocks from the Cathedral, market and Paseo Montejo. Back to La Piazzetta for the second time and it was the best decision during our roadtrip in the Yucatan Peninsula! I remembered Piazzetta being a family-owned hotel in a beautiful setting with traditional rooms, lovely views and welcoming people! Our stay exceeded my expectations! We were welcomed by Leo (the owner) and it immediately felt we came back to visit old friends! Leo helped us and gave us recommendations of what not to be missed that same evening and the day after, restaurant options and must-do's! The room was big enough for four people (we were with three) and it had all the needed amenities! Perfectly clean and comfortable. We highly appreciated the coffee/juice/brioche mini breakfast offered the morning after, the help with carrying the luggage and the attention to details. We were quite sad we only booked for 1 night but it's definitely a place I would be returning in the future! Still lots to see in the area and such a beautiful welcoming place does make the whole experience much much better!

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and free breakfast, the Diplomat Hotel is located within Mérida's historic centre, 1 km from the Plaza Grande Park and 800 metres from the Zoo. What an amazing place to stay! The hotel is beautiful with a wonderful attention to detail. Everything is intentional and looks-and smells-stunning! But the staff and owners are even better than the hotel-and that is really saying something. We were contacted before we arrived asking if they would have snacks and margaritas ready for us when we arrived. They also asked if we had any dietary restrictions. I am gluten free and they kindly made everything gluten free for me!! To include snacks, breakfast and fresh cookies in our room each day! They also made us dinner reservations for every night and made sure they knew I was gluten free. Now, to talk about my favorite part, other than the amazingly kind staff and owners. The breakfasts!!!! They were beyond delicious, and I am very picky. Each day was not only stunning to look at but some of the best food I have eaten in my life. I know their chef will have an amazing culinary career. The owners are so lucky to have found her! A huge thank you to the absolutely amazing staff and owners! I have never felt better taken care of in my life and was greeted with so much kindness!!! Casa de Las Palomas Boutique Hotel by Paloma's Hotels - Adults Only is located in central Mérida and offers an outdoor pool and spa treatments. It’s a beautiful place, good food, great staff and the decoration was amazing. 100 % recommended

Casa del Maya Bed & Breakfast is located in central Merida, nearby Merida’s Cathedral and offers complimentary breakfast for up to 6 guest, free Wi-Fi connection and an outdoor pool. The quality of service is absolutely outstanding. We had to change our travel plans, and even though our booking was non-refundable and non-changeable, the hotel kindly offered to change the dates free of charge. Communication via WhatsApp was incredibly quick and efficient — they even shared great recommendations for cenotes and restaurants. The hotel itself is a beautiful oasis located in a very safe part of the city, about a 10-minute walk from the center. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated, and the breakfasts are excellent. We highly recommend staying at this hotel and truly appreciate their hospitality. If we ever come back to Mérida, we will definitely stay here again.

Located in Valladolid's town centre, Hotel Posada San Juan has an outdoor pool, terraces and gardens to offer to its guests. Friendly and attentive staff, tasty breakfast, refreshing pool in a plant-filled courtyard, its own parking lot for easy ingress and egress, and comfy hammock in our room. The decorations in the common areas and rooms were particularly impressive.

Centrally located just 10 minutes’ walk from Mérida Cathedral, Hacienda Mérida VIP offers an outdoor pool and a 24-hour reception. Free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking are provided. The three pools were lovely. The staff was amazing! They were very friendly and had great recommendations. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We even had an outdoor area. The room was quiet and walkable to many sights, restaurants ad shops.
