The hotel is in the city center. Our room was unique with a swing in the middle of the room. The staff was very friendly.

Hotel de Gaaper is located in a monumental building in the old city centre of Amersfoort. It is situated in a pedestrian shopping area at the market square and its terraces. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it delivered a flawless experience marked by a great location, incredibly friendly staff, a delicious breakfast, and a clean room. The central setting of the hotel added immense value to my stay, making it a fantastic choice for anyone keen on immersing themselves in the local atmosphere. While the hotel exuded a sense of charm, it's worth noting that the style seemed a bit dated. Some elements of decor and furnishings could benefit from a modern touch to align with contemporary tastes.

Comfortable, beautiful attention to detail, lovely christmas decor, excellent sauna! The best, yummiest breakfasts ever! Staff were very professional and friendly. Super convenient location! Loved everything. Can’t wait to go again!

Brīnišķīgā viesnīca atrodas klusā vietā - ciemata Lage Vuursche karalisko mežu ielokā, tieši pie Utrehtas pilsētas un 35 kilometru attālumā no Amsterdamas. Surrounded by woodland and lawns and plenty of outdoor space meant we had a really relaxing break. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly.
