Set against the Al Hajar mountains overlooking the Sea of Oman, this 5-star luxury resort offers a unique palace experience, showcasing the art of Omani hospitality. Just wonderful! Amazing place to stay with a very high quality service! The food is amazing and the service is more than excellent.

This 5-star beachfront resort in Muscat is a 15-minute drive from Muscat International Airport. It has a spa with massage services, swimming pools. We arrived a little early, and were checked into our room with no issue. The rest of the day until 4pm, when we had a tour booked, was spent just relaxing around the hotel having a coffee and cake and walking along the beach path. We enjoyed the beautifully calm atmosphere with the water features, the breakfast offering and variety was superb. Always very friendly and helpful service and the swimming pools at the end of our second day (100-meter pool) was absolutely amazing and we stayed until well after the cauldrons were lit. The room service updates were exceptional.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Shangri-La Al Jissah in Muscat, and what made our holiday truly unforgettable was the incredible warmth and service from the amazing staff we encountered throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, Den at the Main Reception set the tone for an exceptional experience. Her gracious gesture of upgrading us to an executive suite and arranging beautiful anniversary decorations made us feel truly valued and celebrated. A big thank you also to Bashar, who was consistently helpful and attentive to all of our accommodation needs. At Samba Restaurant, we were touched by the kindness and culinary care of Chef Damith. He went out of his way to ensure our young son had meals specially catered to his liking, showing genuine care and attention that meant so much to us. A special shout-out to Anton as well. By the pool, Sachithra made our time at the Pool Lounge delightful. He ensured we had the best drinks, snacks, and even arranged shisha to perfection. His service and friendly manner truly stood out. Our dining experience at Chow Mee was another highlight, thanks to Michaela, Chef Preecha, Chef Bikash, Miyang, and Vikas, all of whom went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. The meals were exceptional, and we were especially touched by the surprise anniversary cake — a gesture we will always remember. This was more than just a luxury stay, it was a heartfelt experience, made so by the people who work tirelessly to ensure guests feel at home. As a token of our appreciation, we’re also sharing a lovely picture of our family with Chef Damith, who, among all the wonderful staff, truly stole our hearts. Thank you once again to everyone who made our stay so special. We look forward to returning soon.

Air-conditioned rooms and suites with private balconies are offered by this boutique hotel, located in the newly developed resort town of Jebel Sifah. Brilliant place for relaxation; the resort is just stunningly beautiful; room was very spacious & clean, had all the amenities included and top-notch quality; breakfast, pool area - top-notch. The resort is next to a small beach that is nice; bar at the beach is cool - friendly staff, all super clean. I highly recommend the 'Dunes Restaurant' for dinner.
