The 4-star Aqua Natura Madeira offers elegant rooms with Atlantic Ocean views in the fishing village of Porto Moniz, 45 km north of Funchal city centre. It offers a sauna on site. Absolutely amazing place. We took a room with a balcony facing the seaview and it was 100% worth its' price. It is the best place I've ever been to. People working in the hotel are very helpful and nice. We also received a lot of nice gifts: a bottle of wine, sweets and snacks in our room - all included. The breakfast is quite nice and there are plenty of sweet treats in it. We loved every bit of this place and definitely plan to come back

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located at Estrada das Covas nº8, São Jorge, Madeira Island, 50 km from Funchal. The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes. Owner is very nice and she cooks very well! Breakfast was good and the room was clean and comfy! We had a nice ocean view!

All staff extremely friendly. Nice rooftop pool and bar/lounge. Rooms have everything you need. Left before breakfast but got a breakfast box that had more food than I could eat. Free spa admission with a steam room and Turkish bath complimentary. Nice restaurant and ambiance throughout the hotel. Highly recommended.

I had a pleasant stay at Golden Residence Hotel. The rooms were nice and comfortable, and the food was tasty with a good variety. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The hotel offers great views of the surrounding area, and I enjoyed relaxing by the small but cozy pool. Overall, the facilities and services were good, making it a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay in Madeira.

This restored Madeiran mansion is located 900 metres from Funchal's Old Town and has scenic views of the sea, the city and the mountains from its own botanical gardens and terraces. What a beautiful stay we had, Mia on the front desk was so lovely and welcoming. She explained everything to us and great things to see. The breakfast was lovely, fresh juices were so great to have each day. Sitting out on the balcony for breakfast in the mornings looking out to the coast was beautiful. The room was very large and had a little kitchenette too.
