We had a wonderful stay at Aqua Natura Madeira. The room was fantastic and the ocean view was absolutely breathtaking — waking up to it was a highlight of our trip. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, always ready to assist and make our stay comfortable. The spa facilities added an extra magical touch to the experience. There’s nothing better than soaking in the jacuzzi after a day of conquering levadas — such a perfect reward. At night, we were treated to beautiful views of the night sky and stars, which made the experience even more special and memorable. Breakfast was also excellent, with great quality and variety. We are really happy we chose this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Just a small note for future guests: if you plan to use the natural pools located just beneath the hotel, keep an eye on the weather. In case of severe conditions, they may be closed. This has nothing to do with the hotel, as the pools are a public facility — just something to be aware of to avoid disappointment. Highly recommended!

We were there at the beginning of January and were able to enjoy the outdoor pool and ocean views. We had a car (which we recommend so you have the freedom to explore the whole island) and there is free parking available below the hotel on the street with a lift up to the hotel. We will definitely book in again if we come back to Madeira.

The staff, especially Olena, went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. Although I hadn’t booked my tour in advance, she managed to arrange a car with a very knowledgeable driver for the entire day. Francisco from the restaurant was also incredibly helpful and kind. The massage was amazing,and last but not least,the manager was so welcoming and genuinely cared about making sure I had the best time possible. The property is situated 20 minutes from downtown, offering a serene and peaceful environment. While this may pose a challenge for guests without a car, taxis are readily available at all hours.

Het charmante Quinta Da Penha De Franca ligt te midden van tropische tuinen op het eiland Madeira en biedt een weids uitzicht over de oceaan en 2 buitenzwembaden met zeewater. Erg leuk klein hotel met een gezellige en gemoedelijke uitstraling. Ruime privéparking waar je gratis kan parkeren. Van hieruit is het eiland perfect te verkennen met een huurauto. Ontbijtbuffet was goed, voor ieder wat wils, niet al te uitgebreid. Kamer was erg ruim met voldoende bergruimte, wij kregen een klein appartementje, deze zijn te gebruiken als familiekamer, flat genaamd. Goede locatie, alles op loopafstand met voldoende vertier en eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Personeel is uiterst vriendelijk en meedenkend.

The location is breathtaking, and all the shared facilities are the best: the pull, the Jacuzzies, all the sitting spots, it seems that every inch in this place got attention in design. The rooms are big and comfy. We stayed in a room with a direct spot to the sunset and it was beautiful. The breakfast is very good, but above all the host is the nicest man. He take care for everythink that we asked and gave us his number in the days he weren’t there to tell him if something is wrong. This was the perfect place!
