Located along the shore of Little Traverse Bay, this inn is just 1 mile from central Harbor Springs. Guests can enjoy an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi. Rooms are very comfortable, we booked one with fireplace. Breakfast is very good. Harbor Springs is where we like to start our trip through the Tunnel of Trees from every year.

Located 10 minutes’ walk from the Bavarian Belle Riverboat, this Frankenmuth hotel features a 37-inch flat-screen cable TV in every room. A daily hot breakfast is served to all guests. This was my first time staying at a Drury Inn and I was very impressed. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and explained the check out, breakfast, and kick-back times, which a lot of staff at other hotels just assume people know nowadays because of online bookings. It felt very welcoming to have those common things explained. The food was great and the location was excellent and quiet. This is officially my favorite hotel chain in the US.

Located steps away from the waterfront, this Mackinaw City bed and breakfast boasts beach access directly across the street. Select rooms offer lake and garden views. Nice and clean, comfortable beds. Very quaint, pretty setting. The staff I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. The heated pool was lovely.

I had breakfast off-site each morning. The hotel's breakfast offerings seemed pretty meager and so I chose to experience more of the local color of Holland, MI for breakfast. All within a 2-3 minute walk of the hotel.
