Carmen, Karen and their team are absolutely wonderful hosts. They are warm, welcoming and genuinely thoughtful. When they noticed from our room that it was my birthday, they chilled a bottle of champagne and surprised me with it when I returned — such a lovely gesture. Breakfast was incredibly delicious, and the view from both the room and the breakfast area is truly beautiful. From here, it’s easy to take great day trips to Cape Point or Boulders Beach.

Elsa is a lovely host, the room with the sea view is amazing and right before the building there is a beach to swim. We were lucky enough during our stay to have a homecooked meal with a private concert. We felt privileged to be there at just the right time. If you are staying more then a few days in Cape Town. Consider coming here and combine it with cape point, and eating fish at fishhoek or houtbay.
