I liked the friendliness of the staff. The hostal was clean and comfortable. I felt very safe there as a solo traveller. The menu was explained very well and I really enjoyed my dinner.There was a map left in my room of Astorga and it provided a wide range of information for me. What a little bit if luxury, when on the Camino. Modern bathroom, great shower. Lovely big double bed, staff so helpful, and friendly the lady that checked me in had lived in Aus so had good understanding of English.
