You are led into the seating area where you can relax with a drink and take in the beautiful garden view while guest relations handles your check-in. The concierge staff are so helpful, friendly and genuinely care about giving you the best advice and suggestions and they'll do anything to assist you. The rooms are spacious, elegant and luxurious. The floors are magnificent and the bathroom is a masterpiece! The service we received from all the staff was unbelievable! We are in no way famous, but we felt like the most important guests in the hotel and I'm sure that every other guest feels the same way. I really enjoyed my time in India but I can honestly say that I would return to Delhi in a heartbeat - just to stay in the Leela Palace (which I have named "Heaven on Earth") once again.“

The hotel facilities, services, and staff all exceeded my expectations. The central location made getting around easy; cycle rickshaws and tuk-tuks were always immediately available in front of the hotel, and it was an easy walk to the train station and two metro stations. The hotel would have arranged car service had I desired and a travel consultant is on-site during the day. By utilizing the gracious services available I enjoyed the convenience of home. Staff answered my incessant questions about cultural issues and customs, how to get around, and what typical costs should be. Day manager Manoj presided over the extended breakfast buffet, insuring that all personal needs were met. A wide range of food options were offered everyday, with ample variety which included regular staples as well as items that changed from day-to-day. The roof-top restaurant has an extensive menu which is available 24 hours a day in order to suit the unique needs and schedules of travelers and provides a good introduction to Indian foods. It also provides a great view of the bustling street below – a wonderful way to observe the unique driving style of Indian motorists. City Star has a large staff, all of whom are very professional. Harpreet, the night manager, made services and information available at any time throughout the night – a great help while my jet lag was subsiding.“
