We needed a printed ticket for the airport, they printed it for us and advised us about it. They have only part of the hotel open, because part was destroyed by the earthquake, but we had no hassle from it, i guess because of that the price/quality was even better.”

Very luxurious for the price I paid. It was nicely furnished, spacious, clean, and new. The hotel also has a nice bar and restaurant, where I enjoyed a nice cocktail. The hospitality was so great. I recommend this place to anyone. Appropriate hotel for family, business, couples, and solo traveler.”

  „This hotel just opened 3 month ago and they do everything right. We initially booked for 2 nights and ended up staying for 6 in total. The owners are here in the morning and in the late afternoon to make sure everything is ok, they leave you their number in case you have a question and there's a phone you can use to call, which is a great thought. Breakfast is made fresh every morning and is very good. It consists of tea/coffee, 2 big toasts, roasted potatoes, steamed vegetables and an omelet. Perfect way to start the day. You have full access to the fully equipped kitchen to make coffee or tea or cook a meal (even though there are so many great restaurants in Thamel we did not use it). We first stayed in the quadruple room (which we had to ourselves, it is NOT a shared room) and had lots of space, even for a workout). The room is bright and the beds are comfortable. There is AC in the room which you can also use as heating. The bathroom is outside the room. The water is heated through solar panels on the roof so you have to be a little patient for it to heat and if it does not work (as there is not enough sun in the winter to heat enough for everybody) you can tell the owner, he has an electrical system as a back-up solution. There are only 3 rooms in this hotel which makes it a real home away from home, and the location is perfect, in the heart of Thamel. The wifi works GREAT, enough to watch streaming videos/movies, which is not common in Kathmandu! So really, nothing negative to say! Keep up the good work!”

Lovely wooden furniture- place to hang and store clothing, the room was also nicely lit which can be hard to find even in some of the more expensive hotels. The perfect place for a nights rest pre or post flight or longer if you are happy to commute to the city or take a a day trip to Bahktapur if you are pressed for time- just 30-40mins away depending upon your driver and traffic conditions. The Hotel is situated within close walking distance of the temple which was ideal for a sunrise or sunset walk- there you can observe the cremation rituals of the local people and stroll through the old temples and structures. For our dinner we ordered a veg thali which was one of the nicest we'd had during the course of our 3 week trip and was accompanied by local dance performances, which helped to make the whole experience all the more lovely and relaxing- our dinner complete with water and two side dishes was only 1000 nepali rupees including Vat and service charge, so fantastic value. The staff were kind unimposing and exceptionally helpful. All in all for the price this is a most excellent hotel and we will stay again on our return.”

The rooms are really modern but with a nepali touch and have a lovely feel. Also have a kettle and massive TV which was a treat. The keycards were also a good modern touch instead of having to carry round massive keyrings like we have done everywhere in the rest of nepal. The breakfast was also fantastic and was  huge!! Really huge!  It included muesli, fruits, toast, omlette, hash browns, potato's along side fantastic masala tea and juices. Coffee was also available but we did not try it. On the final day of our stay the guys invite us for lunch upstairs it was one of our best curries in Nepal, an amazing feast! The staff really do make you feel welcome here and were always ready to help with anything we needed. We especially enjoyed speaking with Sunil and Kumari upstairs in the restaurant every day. Their lovely smiles always welcomed us out of the lift. All in all I cannot recommend this place highly enough and it is fantastic value for money. You will certainly not find anywhere better to sleep, eat and relax for this price. (Believe me- we spent 2 hrs in kathmandu trying to find somewhere to stay!) Thanks shreesu team for our wonderful stay. We will definitely be back!!”
