• Baobab Beach Resort & Spa offers accommodation in Diani Beach. With a lush garden, the resort overlooks the Indian Ocean and offers a 3-tier pool, a spa centre and a selection of restaurants.

  “LOCATION: Amazing beach. Huge white-sand shore, beautiful waters. Gorgeous view. And if you get a cloud-free night, the night sky is incredible. You can even faintly see the arm of the Milky Way. STAFF: Almost everyone working there was extremely friendly, kind, and eager to help with anything. FOOD: Incredible food. We are vegetarians and there was plenty of delicious cuisines for us to eat. They're conscious of vegans too: for breakfast there were egg-free pancakes and waffles. Lots of indian-style and local dishes, as well as an italian pasta station. Fresh mango, passion, and pineapple were also available. DRINKS: Local liquors were included for free (Safari gin, rum, vodka, plus red wine and white wine, and local beers), and international brands were available for purchase. The free cocktails themselves weren't the best but they were free. POOLS: There were three main pool sections, all which were terrific. Pools were always clean, plenty of chairs to lay out on. There's a quiet pool section (which is a three-tiered pool), a medium-volume pool section (single pool that overlooked the beach reception), and a noisy pool (tends to have more kids playing) that's an infinity pool that overlooks the beach. WILDLIFE: They'll tell you there are monkeys. What they didn't tell us was what they meant, which was monkeys will be a part of the experience. Baboons and monkeys will run around the resort, climb onto your balcony, try to get in your rooms. They advise you to keep your balcony window/door closed, which is good advice, because monkeys are everywhere. It's fun to be around them, and there are security guards with slingshots who will try to chase them away. ROOM: Clean, spacious, and modern. They even provided a kettle (big deal for tea drinkers).”
