“Location right on the ocean is beautiful. Service was friendly. Evening Meal service was slow in the dining area. Breakfast service was good. Pool area food service was good. Service is new here so a bit awkward.Laundry service was punctual and good. Air conditioning very good and necessary. Shuttle from/to airport good and essential. Desk very helpful in arranging taxis wherever you wanted--WW2 memorials (our trip goal) snorkeling, fishing, hiking, etc. Pool and gardens spotless. An island of relaxing, very warm, paradise in a very undeveloped land. Good conference venue.”

“A lovely reception area and restaurant, built in the traditional style. The cable car up to the rooms was a unique feature. The rooms were very clean and well serviced. Complimentary breakfasts were excellent, offering a vast choice, all tasty and fresh. Evening meals in the restaurant were delicious and reasonably priced. Pizza however, not so good. The reception manager Catrina was really helpful with rooms and upgrades. All the staff were friendly.”

“Looks new & inviting, extremely polite, welcoming staff, it's located high on the hill, breezes + air conditioning, kitchenette. Flat screen, international channels, it's on airport side of noisy Honiara town so it's exceedingly quiet, we had car & parking was secure & readily available! You will not be disappointed, no car no problem they can arrange local taxis , just be aware it's not in a shopping precinct although a huge shopping plaza is down the hill . Credit card available, book earlier it fills up fast its the most appealing & comfortable place to stay in Honiara at a great rate!!!!”

Close to a bus stop so you can get around yourself, but they also took us into the city in the first place in the shuttle. Dropped us off where we wanted as well. “The family that run the resort are really friendly and happy to help with whatever you want to do. The food is excellent especially the homemade pizzas and omelettes for breakfast. The coral and snorkeling is awesome - I could have spent all day in those waters. There is a nearby island that you can swim or kayak to for that desert island experience. Sitting in the hammocks over the coral filled water was absolutely perfect.”
