The rooms were very clean, the staff was incredibly attentive and attentive to details. Breakfast spectacular, staff quickly replenishing items and very friendly.

My lack of Portuguese wasn't a problem. Some staff spoke English. The complimentary breakfasts were wonderful! The one evening meal I had in the bar/restaurant was delicious!
