Icaraí Praia Hotel is strategically located only 20-metres from Icaraí Beach, and a 5-minute drive from downtown Niteroi. Perfect location of the hotel! Everything is close by. To the beach 300 metres (the description says 20 metres, but in reality more, because you have to cross the road at the crossing, and it is 150 metres + to the water another 100 metres). Beautiful clean beach, after 13 hours blows the wind and is not hot. Near a lot of cafes and restaurants, 100 metres from the main street, not far from a small park. Supermarket is also nearby. The room is spacious, internet is good. Breakfast is excellent, everything you need is available.Many thanks to the hotel managers, everyone was friendly, always willing to help Breakfast was great, but they never changed once in 15 days. Every day everything is the same. The only thing that changed was the juices.From the hotel it is easy to get to the city centre, bus 47, runs frequently, you can pay 4.45 reals to the driver.Thank you to the waiters in the restaurant, they were very attentive.

The hosts are super responsive and welcoming. They prepared the place well to accommodate us and were ready to go above and beyond to meet our needs. They also welcomed feedback and are making improvements to the place. Do reach out to them if you need anything. The building staff was super friendly and helpful, too. Apartment is well equipped for a short stay and relatively well maintained. It's located at the back of the building, so it is very quiet and away from all the street noise (the downside is that the view is not great). The location is central and close to supermarkets and restaurants (you may not even need your car for anything).
