The location is perfect, easy to go around to some famous scenic spots, bus stops and good restaurants nearby on foot. The staffs are all very welcoming and helpful and they run 24hrs which gives us extra convenience. They recommended us many places and restaurants to visit, save us a lot of time. The room is spacious and cozy, they provide extra pillows and quilt in the room so we have no worries to fight for the stuffs while sleeping. We would rather just stay in the room all day than going out because the room was too comfy. Would love to stay here again next time when the restaurant at 1st floor is open, just to taste the food.

FAQs about hotels in Victoria

Ye Olde England in British Columbia's Capital

Picture Ye Olde English pubs, turn-of-the-century British buildings and immaculately planned parks. Now place it in a pristine coastal environment on Vancouver Island in Canada and you have the capital city of British Columbia, a region of extraordinary and unabashed beauty.

Grab your camera and head for a walk in the Garden City to the beautiful Butchart Gardens with its colourful flowers and foliage that change through the seasons. Revitalise your lungs with some pure Canadian air by going cycling along the largest network of bicycle tracks for any city in Canada.

The Inner Harbour provides many activities both on land or out to sea. Buskers and artists make this a lively epicentre of entertainment with many restaurants or take a harbour cruise to admire the coast from afar.

Whale watching is a must-do excursion from Victoria Harbour with the Orca whale a popular attraction. Craigdarroch Castle and the Royal British Columbia Museum are favourite day trips in the capital.

BC Ferries from Vancouver gets you to the southern tip of Vancouver Island. You can then drive a short distance to the city centre where most of the hotels are found on Booking.com. Victoria International Airport services flights from Canada and the USA.

Nice people and views of harbour inlets.

Nice people and views of harbour inlets. Clean buses and low prices for travel. Water taxi and boat trips available. Nearby seaside, countryside and great views. Cafes, pubs, restaurants are numerous. On the downside, there are traffic congestion problems, no rail travel.

Oak Bay is our favourite, the shops and the restaurants...

Oak Bay is our favourite, the shops and the restaurants without going downtown and finding somewhere to park. We did go to a fantastic restaurant Il Terrazzo but took a cab from our place which was the same as parking. The TeaHouse at Abkhazi Garden will be a must do next time. Plenty of shopping for those with enough energy to do so.

Very quaint downtown area by the water, with some parts more walkable than others. I loved staying at the Craigmyle Inn but was glad to have a car since it was not close to the downtown where all the shops and restaurants were located. Driving along the coast was a highlight!

Lots of activities to choose from.

Lots of activities to choose from. Was saddened by the number of homeless people. It was easy to get around walking and buses Butterfly House and Butchart Gardens were terrific. Beacon Hill Park was lovely and I enjoyed the visit to Craigdarroch Castle. Some great bookshops downtown.

Victoria is my hometown. I love the city. It is still remarkably beautiful, but the homelessness near the Island Travel Inn was very disturbing to me, to the point it’s unlikely I would stay there again. So sad 😢
