We had booked a waterfront suite but were upgraded to penthouse suite do to renovation of restaurant nearby. Absolutely stunning views. Mesmerising at any time of day. Though difficult to tear our eyes away, the very spacious apartment had full kitchen dining room, lounge and a tv area as well.

The price is right! I was pleasantly surprised with this stay as it was very nice. The bed was comfy. There was an extra blanket in the closet which I personally love!! The location was great and close to a lot of amenities. Nice there was a liquor store and Chinese food reaturant connected. Staff were great. Rooms appeared to be clean. Rooms were well stocked with supplies that you might need for longer stay. Really surpassed my expectations!

The staff , esp the one who checked us in, was very warm and welcoming. We came in a bit early and we were even given a room upgrade that was ready for our early check-in. The location is perfect for harbor sunset walks, great restaurants, and bus trips and it is just a corner away from The Parliament bldg and the lake.

Victoria is really beautiful -- lots of parks and greenspace. It feels like you are in England. The downtown area is small and, like many cities, it has a drug problem, homeless problem, mental health problem. Most locals don't go downtown. And, sadly development is kicking out many of the quirky cool places. But, still, Victoria is very worth a visit. They Royal B.C. Museum is so cool. And there are great places to have tea. I am excited to go back.

The Royal Canadian Museum is such a gem.

The Royal Canadian Museum is such a gem. Lots of history, special exhibition of Ancient Egypt and IMAx theater. The art gallery had an amazing collection of Canadian artists and Asian arts. Staying in downtown area makes most attractions walkable or many bike lanes for those who want to rent a bike. The area surrounding the harbor was so gorgeous, the buildings and flowers and busy harbor. Don't miss the Butchart Gardens, if you don't have a car, it is easy to book a tour there.

Victoria is a gorgeous city with plenty to do for both kids & adults! The harbor planes landing & taking off in the bay were so fun to watch! The people are so kind & courteous, the city is clean, such great food, history & culture! We did the Royal BC museum on a rainy day, went to Butchart Gardens (WOW!) and just walked a ton around this gorgeous city! Lots of great hiking & views right around the bay. Splendid vacay!

Victoria is a stunningly beautiful city on the water with so much to see and do. The Butchart Gardens is a must, we also enjoyed the Butterfly Gardens, both which are a short drive from downtown. The Royal Museum, and IMAX Theatre, Beacon Hil Park are also walking distance from most area hotels and are not to be missed. Many hotels offer Afternoon Tea, which is fun and goes along with the British heritge of the area.

Great City.

Great City. Get a bike and cycle the harbour front round to Oak Bay - we saw whales. Then cycle back across town to see beautiful houses and Government House - where the Royals stay when visiting - it has beautiful grounds. The Parliament (or Legislature Building) is fascinating with free 45min tours in a beautiful building. Cruise round the harbour. Enjoy excellent food (Finns is a great place - superior food and seating outside). I'd say China Town isn't worth a visit - especially Tin Pan Alley.

Such a beautiful and friendly city!

Such a beautiful and friendly city! We absolutely loved the Butchart Gardens. We also really liked taking a tour on a bike taxi which included a visit to Beacon Hill Park. We enjoyed Fisherman's Wharf and the Royal BC museum. Also loved the nearly constant views of the ocean. The scenery on Vancouver island is gorgeous!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hotel Zed Victoria — great stay! We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Zed Victoria. The hotel is stylish, fun, and very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a café on the hotel property that offers breakfast for an additional fee — everything was very tasty, and I highly recommend it to everyone staying at this hotel. The location is convenient with easy access to downtown, and free parking is a big plus. We would definitely stay here again!

The Hotel is small and cosy, and situated in a quiet neighbourhood, yet not too far away (5' drive) from downtown Victoria. The rooms are not very big, but good enough, and they are beuatifully decorated. The house itself and the breakfast room are beautiful and in Victorian style: a real experience, which guarantees a unique setting. Excellent and original breakfast, served at your table !
