It was right below the main house, but it didn’t feel like a basement at all. I stayed there alone in 2 days, and it was perfect for me, even though it’s actually a two-person place. As soon as I arrived, I called on the phone and reached the host, so I got the keys right away. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the Number 1 train, which made it super easy to get to the area where the Cologne Cathedral is. The vibe of the place was really nice also.

A 5-minute walk from Cologne Cathedral and a 9-minute walk from Cologne Central Station, this hotel lies on a side street in the Old Town. It has air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi.

Great little studio apartment perfect for a couple. Great bed and excellent shower. Bit of a squeeze means that breakfast facilities a bit light in. 8 minute walk to U Bahn and straight into old town. Area is a bit average but made a good home base.
