The hotel is just across the street from the train station in the old town. We used Nuremberg as the base to several small romantic road towns. It was extremely convenient for us to be near the train station.
Hotel Victoria offers the most luxurious breakfast. Coffee is served in a silver pot with hot milk on the side. Eggs are cooked to your individual order. I highly recommend hotel Victoria to anyone visiting Nuremberg.

The location is excellent - on a central street, within walking distance if everything, including the fantastic Christmas markets! Although in a busy area, the soundproofing is great, so we found it very quiet once inside. Staff are friendly and helpful. We arrived early, so we’re able to store our luggage while we explored some of the city. After returning, we found our luggage had been taken to our apartment for us. The decoration and facilities are superb. Very cosy inside. It’s also a short walk to the main train staition (we visited Bamberg one afternoon) and the nearest underground station is closer station (visited Fürth Christmas markets and old town using the U-Bahn). All in all a great stay!

Pretty much everything is clearly well thought out! Before we even arrived, we received a message with details on how to access the building and how to program a key card. This was incredibly reassuring. Then the instructions were so easy, it took no more than 3 minutes to program 2 key cards. It took me 3 tries to get a hang of opening the room door (even with instructions on the door!) but after that, no issues. My husband got it the first try so I blame myself! The location is amazing, which is why we stayed here. It takes two minutes one way to the Altstadt through a small walkway, or 5 min straight up Brunnengasse. It is also about a 4 or 5 minute walk to 3 different subway stations so it really is a convenient location in more than one way. So many little touches were thought of in the units. I like that there is no TV as I never watch TV on vacation - I can do that at home! I'm in Nürnberg to explore the city! And it really is a beautiful city. I will absolutely stay here again next time.
