I Like the roof top bar and reception. The view there is terrific with whole ancient Quito in one eye. The host team are very welcoming. They actively approached us for a dinner (charged with a nice price) before our landing. You know this is so great for new comers to a youth hostel. We do not need to shop around for no idea but great food already served to us with opportunity to talk to other people around. The shared kitchen there offers enough cooking utensils which make our life much easier. The location is also very convenient. Just several steps you can reach vegetables, matches, locks and fruits. You can jump into the crowded town but step back you return to a quiet room to stay.

Our family absolutely loved this place. We had stayed elsewhere in Quito for a couple of days arriving in Ecuador and at Casa el Eden on our way out. It was 12 of us and everything was perfect. The location is great, the hosts were friendly, kind and very helpful. They organised our transport to and from the airport and made the trip easy and simple. The hotel is stunning and cosy, spotless but with lots of character. I wouldn’t look elsewhere when booking a place in Quito whether it’s just a couple or a larger group like ours.
Short easy walk to the main plaza and also pharmacy which we needed and lots of great dinner options close by. We’ll definitely stay here if we travel to Quito again.

Everything was really good, specially the attention that we get from Gloria and Hernan, they made us feel at home and helped us with every detail of the trip, including an excellent tour around the historical center by Hernan, who knows a lot of history of the city and the Ecuadorian culture. The Hotel is good located, it is in a quiet traditional neighborhood within the historical center and we felt safe during our stay. We highly recommend this Hotel and their hosts.

Traveler's House is located in the heart of the historic center of town. It is only about three blocks from the main plaza and is close to many historic sites and restaurants. There is a small market literally across the street where you can pick up snacks, drinks, and many other items. The hotel is also less than 100 yards from a lot of great restaurants and bars in the area of Calle La Ronda.
If you enjoy history, staying at Traveler's House is a treat. It's a centuries old home which seems to have not been altered much other than to put in bathrooms and electricity. The high ceilings, the large wooden doors, balconies, etc. are great.
The staff, particularly Kelvin, the owner, were friendly and Kelvin was happy to provide tips and information about Quito, tours, etc.
Finally, there is a wonderful, tranquil patio and garden on the property. It's a great place to relax.

We had such a great experience staying at la posada with Jamie! He made us feel so welcomed to Ecuador and helped us navigate our time in Quito. The hostel was very nice and amenities were great. Gorgeous views from the rooftop! Would definitely stay with Jamie again, he was the best!!
