This was hands down the best property that I stayed in for the month traveling Spain.

Set a 6-minute walk from Playa de la Fossa Beach and a 3-minute walk from Cantal Roig Beach, Hotel Porto Calpe offers an outdoor pool and views over Calpe Harbor and Ifach Rock.

We visited on Christmas Day in December 2025 and wished we had more time to enjoy the area. The staff member who received us was professional, welcoming and provided all the information. We had upgraded our rooms to ocean view that we highly recommend. Found street parking avaliable nearby and see off street parking was also available not too far away. The Romanian Dracula restaurant was our pick for dinner. Breakfast in hotel is highly recommended, located on first floor and overlooking the port. We didn't do the climb, however will be back for that and will remember to register prior If that is your thing. We saw several Flamingos in the nearby salt lakes. Great value for money for our family.

Really smooth check in with Klaudia, great communication (and the bottle of wine and water and juice was a lovely surprise). I booked this last minute and wasn’t sure what to expect and was delighted! The location right across from the beach was fantastic. We drove to Altea for dinner and it was such a cute and charming little town on the sea. Great short hike in the canyon that is walkable from the apartment (and longer trails too). The apartment is very large and it had almost everything we would need for a short stay (some oil and sugar would have been helpful). We swam in two out of the three pools, played pádel, hung out on the balcony, and had a great time.

The reception from Paco & Natalia was friendly and welcoming. The introductory items left in the apartment on arrival were a nice touch and very well received. I'd recommend this flat for anyone looking for a quieter area close to Mascarat.

PLAZAMAYOR offers free Wifi and rooms with air conditioning in Calpe. Guests may go for a swim in the plunge pool.
