Close to the big shopping centre at Tapiola and thus to busses and metro. I was surprised, and pleased, by the inclusion of a washer/dryer we could use. The neighbourhood is quiet on the evenings, say from the occasional dog bark.

The beds are extremely confortable and the breakfast provides a huge variety. There is a huge shopping mall a few meters away and the metro stop Matinkylä is litteraly next door, so quite convenient to explore Helsinki. Good value for money.

We enjoyed our stay a little too much. The concept of turning an old prison into a cozy hotel, interior design, extremely polite staff and breakfast + dinner included in the price. The location was good, 25 min walking distance from the city centre and only a few minutes with the tram. It did not bother us though. Overall great experience, will definitely be back.
