A new and very beautiful hotel. Everything was designed perfectly, the room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very nice and we had amazing sunrise from our room.

The staff is exceptional! A family operated business that includes the taverna next to the beach. They are super friendly and appreciative of you being there. We enjoyed it so much that we booked another room there after spending a few days exploring the west end of the island. I highly recommend #5 if you can get it. A slight bit of a drive outside of town guarantees peace and quite. And the beach? Oh the beach is stunning! Grab a lounge chair under an umbrella, kick back, and enjoy!

Perfect getaway! The staff make La Mar welcoming and always there to assist with a smile. Rooms are modern, comfortable bed, great bathroom and a balcony with sea views! Breakfast was exceptional and plentiful. The pool and lounge beds were very comfortable and beach was truly beautiful. Lots of Restaruant in the area!

The photos are real. What you see on photos is what you ordered. We had no problems from start till end. The place is really close to the beach and restaurants. 15 min walking. Swimming pool is always clean.

From the moment we checked in after a relatively short ride from Chania Airport, we were warmly welcomed by Anelia. She took great care of us while we waited to be settled into our room. Fortunately, the room was ready, even though we arrived a little early. Andreas helped us with our luggage using his strong Greek arms, and Fabian, the waiter, made sure we were always refreshed by the pool, with beverages and food available whenever we needed them. We misplaced a couple of items during our stay, and thanks to Anelia and the reception team, everything was found and returned to us. We couldn’t have asked for more from this hotel. It was a fantastic stay - perfect for a workcation (great Wi-Fi!) or simply relaxing by the pool in peaceful surroundings. 10/10 – Would definitely go again.

We’ve found another place to stay where we’d gladly return – a peaceful location, elegant houses, a spacious and well-equipped apartment, and a kind and helpful lady at reception. The nearby taverna Polichronis serves very tasty food, and the close-by bakery came in handy too. Just a few kilometers into the hills lies the Forest of Azilakas area, with marked hiking trails.
