Everything was perfect from the staff to room and also breakfast was perfect, the rooms are exceptional especially the ones with private pool, they also prepared the room with roses 🌹 for my wife's birthday for a small fee, thank you very much for the service offered we will be back for sure on our next visit to Crete, loved 🤩 every moment of it

We had no catering reservation. Convenient supermarket is just about 150m up the hill so no problem to shop when needed. There are also very good restaurants close to the supermarket. Plaka is small community and quiet most of the time. There are nice sea and mountain views from Leste Homes. We have flown to Heraklion rented the car and drove to Plaka 124km. It would be more convenient to fly to Chania CHQ airport instead just about 30km from Leste Homes. I would recommend to hire car because it is easier to drop down to Almyrida beach. Hosts have been absolutely fantastic, hospitality above expectation, cleaning better than 5* hotel and host also shared with us traditional Greek dishes and wine, outstanding.

we loved the apartment- modern, spacious and had everything we needed! the hospitality was so so lovely - we felt like part of the family! and we had a lovely time lounging and swimming in the pool. the apartment itself was really spacious and it was lovely to have friends over to eat dinner together on the balcony. the beds were comfy, the kitchen was well equipped and the shower was nice and hot. we couldn’t asked for anything more! outside we had enough space to do some yoga each morning. there is a lush communal bbq space which we didn’t make use of - but will if we stay again. the pool was so lovely to use - nice that it has a baby pool attached and it felt really clean. it is just a short 3 minute walk down to the town square (food, bakery, shop etc). there is a lovely restaurant (with a donkey sign) 1 minute away too. all in all we loved everything and felt so welcomed there. when we arrived Nico greeted us with a drink and some homemade snacks. we couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Just 656 feet from the beach, Almyrida Sands is located in Almirida in the Crete Region. Chania Town is 11 mi away. Free private parking is available on site.

The place is outstanding - the garden is so beautiful and Yannis tidies up any fallen leaves each morning. It's very quiet, you can enjoy a glass of beer in the evening and admire the flowers. Location is 3 mins walk to the beach and the promenade with some great restaurants. The place itself is very well equipped - from aircons, to appliances in the kitchen. You can see lots of hand-made ornaments that really add character to the place. Very clean and tidy. We stayed there 3 weeks - 2 weeks to work, 1 week holiday. We've been very worried if the quality of the internet will be sufficient for zoom calls and so on. What the owners did is that they have separate lines for each property (which likely costs them a lot of money!) but the internet is reliable and we had no issues with the remote work. So if somebody wants to work from the there and is worried about the internet - don't be you will be fine! Yannis, dear friend, you made our stay truly memorable - stopping by to chat to us every morning, bringing us fresh oranges/lemons from the garden, fresh bread to our door from Kalyves. We sincerely thank you and we really appreciate it.

The view was spectacular. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Charming room with precious little balcony and again the view! The pool was crystal clear and it was lovely to see the pool with the backdrop of the ocean. The people were so friendly and helped us with calling a taxi etc.
