Home away from home is what I want to say about my stay at De Elaaf . They are truly a paradise on earth . Staff were very polite and helpful and considerate . Mudasir even fetched medicines for me even in late night . This really touched my heart . Cozy and heart warming experience and I want to come back soon .

The location is away from the crowd and by a river. It was perfect, I spent peaceful morning and afternoon having nice coffee there. Room was decently clean. You have a small garden to chill by the lake and watch the boats pass by. There were also 2 cute cats. The guy at the reception is very helpful. He helped me in booking my tickets for gandola for Gulmarg. I suggest you contact them to book your transportation if you want to travel around.

Service was excellent,, caretaker was good and rooms and bathroom was clean ,hot shower was available all the time ,wifi was good helpful for our internet connection,,

I would kike to Thank Alia and her staff for helping us out during the entire soan of my stay. I was travelling with my mother and with a broken had and Alia and her staff made sure we have do not have to worry about any chores and also helped us with a cab with an Amazing driver. The hotel is at the perfect location right in front of the Dal lake and theres a super neat and clean food court right beneath the hotel.

Beautiful, clean, and comfortable houseboat with stunning lake views. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful, making our stay smooth and memorable. Loved the peaceful mornings, shikara rides, and overall hospitality. Truly a perfect Dal Lake experience — highly recommended

Excellent property, the best customer service ever. We were made to feel at home. Anything we asked for, the helpers provided without hesitation. The owner of the boat visited us at dinner and spoke for a while. The warmth in that conversation was just so good.

I have stayed I this houseboat ;and the experience was too good really enjoyed,the rooms were neat and clean and heritage work was highly appreciated. Special thanks to the Adil bhai the host for arranging the accomodations and taxis.

Staying on a houseboat on Dal Lake was a very special experience. There is something very calming and peaceful about being surrounded by water. The nearby view of the snow-capped mountains was absolutely breathtaking. Picturesque and beautiful. Very welcoming hosts. Comfortable room. Good food. Bottled water readily available because the owners regularly host foreign visitors. They speak English well (particularly Faizan who speaks English fluently). This is helpful for many foreign visitors to communicate for anything they might need as well as to gain insight into Kashmiri life.

Staffs are very much helpful along with owner Mr. Tanveer vai. Hotel location along with view was superb. Worth to staying at this hotel.

It's beautiful stay with beautiful interior

The location is superb. Just 2-3 minutes walk to Boulevard Road along the Dal Lake.
