Clean, comfortable & affordable house boat with a big bed! There is WiFi, hot water and the big bed has heating for winter. The host is a very pleasant fourth generation houseboat owner who is passionate about showing the best of Kashmir to travellers. He will tell you the ins and outs of Kashmir, how to avoid traffic, where to eat or laundry and most importantly how to avoid being scammed etc. Very pleasant man.

The location is away from the crowd and by a river. It was perfect, I spent peaceful morning and afternoon having nice coffee there. Room was decently clean. You have a small garden to chill by the lake and watch the boats pass by. There were also 2 cute cats. The guy at the reception is very helpful. He helped me in booking my tickets for gandola for Gulmarg. I suggest you contact them to book your transportation if you want to travel around.

First and foremost the thing that we loved the most - PEOPLE OF KASHMIR. They are so generous so humble and so respectful, they always talk to you with decency and respect.
Second - the property owner and the other staffs were so friendly and caring they made us feel like our own home.
