Cultural and historic Japanese style inn with various kinds of hot springs. Delicious food and staff members' welcoming hospitality. We enjoyed retro style Japanese beauty. Maze like facility. Reaching out to our room was intriguing.

Set in Izu, 800 metres from Shuzen-ji Temple, Breezbay Shuzenji Hotel offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Breakfast was served in the large restaurant, and the quality was superb with the staff being very attentive and nice. Loved the Japanese selection! Room was nice and large, and very clean. Two choices of private onsen! We managed to enjoy both of them. In case you're hungry from all the onsen, they also provide ramen, drinks and beer for supper for free!

In the Shuzenji Onsen district of Izu, close to Shuzen-ji Temple, Hostel Knot has a shared lounge and a washing machine. This 2-star guest house offers a shared kitchen and full-day security. Staff is very friendly and we got a personal goodbye message; Which is a very lovely touch. Location and the building itself are top, very beautiful.

Featuring a spa bath, Oni no Sumika is set in Izu. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Guests can make use of a garden. The rooms were super nice with great views, and the onsen was soo relaxing. All staff are super friendly and helped us explore the area around the hotel. The dinner & breakfast included were among the best meals I’ve had!

Located in Izu, Goyokan boasts relaxing hot spring baths, Japanese cuisine and free WiFi. Staff are nice! Rooms are very cozy, and being designed very good! Recommended!

Designed by Shinji Kagawa, the stylish AKARI et KAORI formerly Taizanso is a 10-minute drive from Shuzenji Train Station. breakfast and dinner was exceptional!

Hotel Sora is 300 metres from Shuzenji Temple and 2.5 km from Shuzenji Train Station. delicacy food and intimate setting for diners

Set in Izu and only 200 metres from Shuzen-ji Temple, Onsen Yado Mizuguchi offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. I really love Ryokans and Onsen, so being supplied with both options at once felt like a dream come true.. I had to get used to the Onsen at first though, for it was my first time. The rooms are rather cold at night, but after figuring out the air conditioning I was totally fine. The Futon is on the rather hard side when it is about bedding.. but I still slept really well and having the Katsura River near, singing me a Lullaby I slept through the night like a stone. What I enjoyed most though, was the exceptionally delicious traditional breakfast.. I was offered grilled fish, Miso Soup, Rice.. some pickled / dried fruits and a small plate with a rather western oriented dish made of Potato Salad, a mirrored egg and sausage (which I unfortunately couldn’t eat, because I am a pescetarian) .. it was my highlight of the day !
