Located in Kyoto, a 10-minute walk from Arashiama Bamboo Grove, MUNI KYOTO by Onko Chishin provides accommodations with a fitness center, private parking, a garden and a terrace. Big room, contemporary feeling, nice bathroom. And spectacular view on the water garden. Staff was very kind and attentive. Diner was delicious.

Amazing hospitality and attention to details from the staff. Very large and comfy room (compared to standards in Japan at least). Walking distance to the bamboo forest and other gems in the northwest of Kyoto, way more calm than the east side. Highly recommend this place.

Well located in the Nishikyo Ward district of Kyoto, Kadensho, Arashiyama Onsen, Kyoto - Kyoritsu Resort is located a 19-minute walk from Arashiama Bamboo Grove, 2.3 miles from Otagi Nenbutsu-ji... The Resort is located just beside the station and bus stop, which made travelling there really convenient! The entrance itself was an attraction with all the blooming trees and the staff would greet you once they notice you approaching the entrance. You get to choose your own rental yukata and there are 5 private onsen and 2 separated shared ones for males and females. It does get rather crowded but it's definitely worth a go.

The breakfast is truly a exquisite experience! I've never had something similar, even though I have Japanese roots. The staff is super professional and the location is close to all attractions.

Room is clean and very comfortable. Staff is polite. Location is very convenient. Overall, very pleased with this hotel.

Located in Kyoto, within a 16-minute walk of Arashiama Bamboo Grove and 2.1 miles of Otagi Nenbutsu-ji Temple, Hotel Arashiyama provides accommodations with a terrace as well as free private parking... Location is near the point of attractions in planned itinerary. The staff were friendly and able to speak/understand a little English. Even though had informed them no room service is required during our short stay. But when placed in request to clear the rubbish bin only, they made an effort to check via message to verify ok to enter and even clean up the room.

Renovated in 2014, Hotel Binario Saga Arashiyama offers a restaurant, a café and a public bath. JR Sagaarashiyama Train Station and Torokko Saga Station is just a minutes’ walk away. Loved this hotel for a second time. Access from JR Saga Arashiyama station could not be easier! A perfect choice to enable an early stroll along the bamboo path. The breakfast is a very novel experience: with an English brochure and help at hand, guests make their own tofu at their table. The small cafe is also very convenient for lunch. Nearby Randen line gives access to many other iconic places in north-west Kyoto.

Ideally located in the Ukyo Ward district of Kyoto, Sun Members Kyoto Saga is located 1.4 miles from Arashiama Bamboo Grove, 2.3 miles from Otagi Nenbutsu-ji Temple and 3.5 miles from Kitano Tenmangu... I’d say this hotel is underrated. We stayed here when we visited places around/near Arashiyama so I won’t say that the location is bad. You just have to plan your trip and map it out. Staff were great, I can speak a little japanese but they can converse well in english, too. Room was great and spacious - and the sunrise view from our balcony was beyond perfect. The building is classic and well-maintained. They have a shuttle going to Saga Arashiyama station, but I don’t mind the 10-15 mins. morning walk.
