This has been my second time at this hotel and I’d love to stay there again! The location is ideal as it’s very near the train and metro station, making it easy to get into the city or take day trips with the Shinkansen. The public bath is especially nice and, additionally, there’s a lounge with free coffee and drinks as well as a large selection of manga.

Nothing beats this location. It is right in the Osaka train station, and you can get anywhere easily and quickly. We even took the JR train to the airport upon leaving Japan. Remember to get the basic fare ticket along with the ticket to the airport.

S-O Youth Hostel had an ideal location, less than 10 minutes away from Shin-Osaka station. Only thing is, in my itinerary, you need to cross the railway by going up and down a flight of stairs. I am not used to sharing rooms, but everyone was very respectful and calm. The individual locker was big enough for my big suitcase and my backpack to fit, which was great. Although you need to go up one floor to go to the bathroom, the place is not too crowded and I event managed to have a shower alone. The place also provides samples such as toothpaste or moisture lotion at your arrival. The staff was very professional and welcoming. This is the best you could get of a hostel!
