Very clean . Had absolutely everything in the hotel you could need ( even a vending machine selling underwear!) . Unbelievable value for money. Hairdryer is in the room along with a t.v. Free dressing gown, free toothbrush, hairbrush , slippers. Free hot and cold drinks ( ice cubes provided) from a vending machine in the lobby between 14:00 and midnight . Also in the lobby is a change machine. The microwave is available in the laundry room. The washing machines are only 300 yen per wash with built-in soap powder and 200 yen for the tumble dryer. The staff are amazing. They were so kind but not intrusive. Always there to answer questions. My room was perfect for my needs. ( single occupancy) The bed was great for my back . It was firm and comfortable. My family had a three - bed room, which was huge. The windows open fully in the bedrooms. My bedding and towels were spotless. Good quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were supplied. The shower pressure was fab. Even room spray was provided. The breakfast was varied and tasted amazing.Its all you can eat. The dining room was spotlessly clean. There is a convenience store on the corner of the road. We would definitely stay there again !!!

This APA hotel is very good. Located very close to shin-Osaka station, very comfortable if you are traveling around Japan. Easy for day trips to Kyoto and other places. The area is quiet ( you don't hear the trains), not too much going on around. The staff was polite and helpful. Some speak English, some not. Breakfast was tasty, Japanese style, not too much choice, but enough for me. Some people wrote in the review that it's impossible to control the A/C in the room. Well in my room it was possible - you have a/C display on the bed. The bed is super comfy , I slept well.

- Hotel location is excellent. 5 mins from Namba Station, and basically right in the middle of all good restaurants. Lawson a convenience store which sells alcohol, snacks, food is opposite the hotel. - Rooms are very clean. Although its small but it is expected. Very comforable and clean. Good facilities. Check in was very fast. Took only 5 mins. They have an option of late checkout by paying 1000 yen for every hour you extend. Maximum you can extend is upto 2 pm i guess. - Staff are amazing as with all people we met in Japan.

If you are staying near Universal studios this place is perfect. You have to pay to go to the bath which we did not really like, but when we realized it is better to have people pay than have it swarming with small children, we gladly paid. Breakfast was varied and delicious.

Incredible mix of history and futuristic sky-scrapers. Vending machines nestle next to shinto shrines in back alleys. Toilet seats that warm and wash your bum whilst playing bird song for your privacy. INCREDIBLE food and so much of it and so cheap. Many places to visits and so easily & cheaply by public transport.

I really loved the layout of the room.

I really loved the layout of the room. Having a dedicated lounge room seperate from the bedroom was great. What I thought might be improved upon was the signage to the reception area. Coming from the train, you walk in and you’re on the second floor looking down into an open area where as you walk past a pharmacy you see a reception. Going into the lifts, perhaps have a sign saying that the reception is to the left following the red arrow.

You are staying there Just for the sleep, nothing more. The room has it's own bath, massage chair, flat screen, all sorts of things. But it is poor in terms of hygiene and room service. However, you should keep in mind not to have high expectation, since it's considerably cheap.

The area was close to a number of interesting sites. We visited an incredible vintage market at Expo '70 Commemorative Park. Travel to Katsuo Ji (my favorite!) was easy from this area. Our rental here was a great bargain.

To be truthful I stayed because I wanted to visit the airport as an aircraft spotter, so I did not look around a lot, however in the evening I did find an excellent Nepalese bar / restaurant, so much so that I never bothered to look for anywhere else the following two nights of my stay.

The people that work there are very kind and accommodating, from the moment you book till you leave they make sure everything is taken care of and are available to help 24/7. This place is extremely peaceful, the food is out of a story book because of how good it is and I just love this place so much I will be back one day. I took the bike for a ride exiting to the left of the villa and found a restaurant called green something ( I can’t remember the name) and it was such a beautiful place with a stream running through the outdoor dining area.

The breakfast was fantastic — so many options, and everything tasted great. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Every part of the hotel, including our room, was spotless. I requested fresh towels daily, and they not only provided them but also made the bed each day. The views from our room, the restaurant, and the Sky Spa were absolutely breathtaking. After a long day of walking and sightseeing, relaxing in the Sky Spa’s large bath with that amazing view was the perfect way to unwind.

Osaka makes a great home base for day trips to Hiroshima,...

Osaka makes a great home base for day trips to Hiroshima, Himeji, Kyoto, and Nara. Logistics is an issue if you're using the train system. Expect to walk a lot or pay for taxis so be in shape. We went in February and had no rain and weather was cool with only a couple of really cold days in the low 40's F. I think we average over 20K steps a day as navigating using google maps helps but it's not perfect. Don't even attempt using Apple maps. The people are great and very polite. Despite what you read on Reddit and other sites, we used our credit card at most places except the super touristy spots like street vendors at Dotonburi. Food is fantastic even at the train stations. Universal Studios Japan is great with fantastic live shows and rides. I kind of wish Universal Hollywood had more shows.

We only stayed one night when we arrived as we needed a place to recharge and freshen up before we head to Kyoto. The hotel is very nice with complete amenities in the room. The room we occupied has the view of the airport runway but we never heard any noise coming from the airplanes arriving and taking off. A bit expensive but it was worth it. Breakfast buffet was very good too.

Great area with stores open till late and an interesting...

Great area with stores open till late and an interesting place to explore on walks. The area was safe even at night. Sakai is well located between the KIX airport and Namba also is one of the express trains stops. Bars and restaurants open very late at night plus convenience stores everywhere open 24/7. Excellent shopping Mall there also and other supermarkets all in easy walking distance from the station.
