We travelled from Australia and this was a great stay for my partner and I, (I am 6ft3 keep in mind) we had 2 large suitcases and we had more than enough room for both of us. It’s not a large room, and it’s not a small room, it was the perfect size, and felt very cosy. We stayed for 6 nights and we had booked other accomodation for the period, but we were unhappy with it as we arrived, and decided to leave, we booked this accomodation online on the day and checked in 20 minutes later and the value for money was very fair. The staff were exceptional and always around to help when we needed it. We felt very safe as we had keycards that were needed to unlock the entrance, the elevator and the door to our room. The hotel was very close to the Shinsaibashi Mall strip, and was about a 5-10 minute walk at most, and we were also about a 5 minute walk from the nearest train stations. The Check in/out was extremely fast and easy and every day the staff provided us with clean pyjamas, towels and complimentary water bottles. There is also washing machine facilities, vending machines, and ice dispensers on level 5 and level 9 which were easily accessible and easy to use. (the washing machines had a QR code that you could see on your phone the availability of the washing machines/ how long was left of the cycle) If we were to travel back to Osaka in the future, we will 100% be staying here again!

One of a kind place! Even before boarding the elevator staff is standing by, asking for your name so that the gracious ladies at the reception already know about you checking in. The huge room is spotlessly clean, and you will discover hidden amenities everywhere - one example being the fabric spray for your clothes. Big bathroom with a tub features breathtaking views, as does the huge balcony. The luxurious bar is free in the evening and features high-class drinks and local snacks. Take your time to talk to the staff. Osaka locals are known for their friendliness, and this hotel's staff are perfect ambassadors for their city. One lady taught us how to count with our fingers in Japanese. A special shout-out goes to Taigen with his bubbly personality. We will definitely come back here.

This APA hotel is very good. Located very close to shin-Osaka station, very comfortable if you are traveling around Japan. Easy for day trips to Kyoto and other places. The area is quiet ( you don't hear the trains), not too much going on around. The staff was polite and helpful. Some speak English, some not. Breakfast was tasty, Japanese style, not too much choice, but enough for me. Some people wrote in the review that it's impossible to control the A/C in the room. Well in my room it was possible - you have a/C display on the bed. The bed is super comfy , I slept well.

The location was ideal. Near enough to the malls, supermarkets and convenience stores, but far enough from the noise of Osaka Station. I especially appreciated the free coffee at the lobby. It's a no-frills business hotel, so don't expect any luxuries. Just the comfortable essentials. Private room with bath, ref, TV, Wifi, electric kettle.

Osaka is great... use Gemini or chat to help you know what shows, exhibitions, galleries are on when you're there..find the nice little local Japanese coffee shops and go and use them... avoid the ones that say 'smoking is ok' and encourage the restaurants to have more vegetarian food on the menu...

I love The Izumi-Sano Osaka because it's right by the sub-way station. 10 mins away from Outlet Store, 10 mins from a shopping Mall. Restaurants inside the hotel are very good. Staffs are very professional.

You are staying there Just for the sleep, nothing more. The room has it's own bath, massage chair, flat screen, all sorts of things. But it is poor in terms of hygiene and room service. However, you should keep in mind not to have high expectation, since it's considerably cheap.

To be truthful I stayed because I wanted to visit the airport as an aircraft spotter, so I did not look around a lot, however in the evening I did find an excellent Nepalese bar / restaurant, so much so that I never bothered to look for anywhere else the following two nights of my stay.

The area was close to a number of interesting sites. We visited an incredible vintage market at Expo '70 Commemorative Park. Travel to Katsuo Ji (my favorite!) was easy from this area. Our rental here was a great bargain.

New and very reasonable price for the quality. Highly recommended for the travellers before the trip, but better to buy something to eat and drink around the station, before reaching this hotel by walk (10mins) as there are not many shops around.

Been to Osaka a couple of times and my impression is always the same... it's so touristy. not that it's bad but if you are looking for something that is less crowded, less chaotic, then avoid Osaka. For me, Osaka is for the younger, more dynamic set.

I really loved the layout of the room.

I really loved the layout of the room. Having a dedicated lounge room seperate from the bedroom was great. What I thought might be improved upon was the signage to the reception area. Coming from the train, you walk in and you’re on the second floor looking down into an open area where as you walk past a pharmacy you see a reception. Going into the lifts, perhaps have a sign saying that the reception is to the left following the red arrow.

Great area with stores open till late and an interesting place to explore on walks. The area was safe even at night. Sakai is well located between the KIX airport and Namba also is one of the express trains stops. Bars and restaurants open very late at night plus convenience stores everywhere open 24/7. Excellent shopping Mall there also and other supermarkets all in easy walking distance from the station.
