The cleanliness, comfortable beds, spacious, welcoming host and great breakfast

The location was perfect for a quick trip. Very close to shopping and restaurants. The air conditioning was a plus during the summer and plenty of hot water for showers. Very nicely decorated. Oussama was easy to work with and very pleasant.

This was a gem of a guesthouse on the edge of the Medina. Recently renovated with marble stairs and floors, it was classy and classic at the same time. My single room was small but had everything I needed: an electric kettle, a heat/air conditioning unit and a TV. The bathroom was likewise, well appointed. And the location was perfect and easy to find. The two young men who managed the property were delightful and couldn’t have been more helpful. One spoke fluent English and the other was adept with Google Translate!

The property was a traditional Moroccan three level villa with a fireplace in the center. We ended up having eight people in there at the end and there was warm, bedding and blankets for all of us.

Very clean, well maintained, and great staff. Maybe the best stay of our entire morocco trip, even better than the Hyatt in Casablanca. Communication was top notch. They helped meet us at the nearby parking location and brought us to the nearby Riyad. We were offered our choice of rooms. This was the cold season, but the rooms were pre-heated for us, a very nice touch. Rooms were very clean and they maintained a high standard. The rooms are well appointed, and furnishings were very nice as well. Location was great, very close to the city center, but also very quiet. The breakfast was amazing. 10/10 breakfast, maybe the best of our entire trip. I wish we had stayed here longer.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Palacio del Sol in Chefchaouen, and I honestly can't recommend this place enough! From the moment I arrived, everything was flawless. The location is perfect—just a short 5-minute walk to everything, yet it feels like a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The roof views are absolutely breathtaking, and the vibe of the place is like a true riad—a perfect blend of traditional Moroccan charm and modern comfort. What truly sets Palacio del Sol apart, however, is the incredible team. Abdeslam Barbara, has clearly poured his heart into creating a place where guests feel like family. The staff is beyond helpful—right from the moment I arrived in Chefchaouen, they were checking in on my flights, ensuring everything went smoothly at the airport, and even arranging seamless hotel transfers in and out of the town. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness made all the difference. The breakfast, served with a stunning view, was one of the best I’ve ever had—fresh, flavorful, and absolutely out of this world. The cleanliness of the place also stood out—I actually saw them scrubbing the walls to ensure everything was spotless, which speaks volumes about their commitment to maintaining a high standard. If you're looking for a place in Chefchaouen that feels like home but with a touch of luxury, Palacio del Sol is the perfect choice. The warmth, cleanliness, and outstanding hospitality make it an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!
