We loved our stay here. From the check in experience to the very last minute of check out everything was amazing. The hotel felt like a relaxing oasis, kind of like a spa feeling, superb breakfast, perfect service from everyone we encountered, you even get called by your name by staff. We tried a few things at the restaurant as well as cocktails and it was great (we are quite picky, but never got dissapointed). Jungle view rooms are wonderful, private and beautiful, bed was big and comfortable. Amenities are also top notch. we went to the beach on our last night, brought the speaker that was part of the room and forgot to take out the speaker out of the beach bag, staff noticed upon check out that the speaker was missing and asked us if we know where it is. We checked the beach bag and found it, we felt a bit embarrased, but staff handled it so gracefully and made us feel much better. I dont remember his name, but the guy at the reception with beard is worth separate praise, his service was top notch. Now we are staying at the hotel next door and dreaming to be back at Ma’Xanab.

We felt completely comfortable - great environment, beautiful rooms, incredibly delicious food and a great bar with delicious drinks 🫶🏼. The staff was very nice, but most to be highlighted are the great guys Jorge and Armandito! They were so warm and we had great conversations, thanks for that! Furthermore, Jorge is a super organizer and planned a lot for us! That is not a matter of course. Everything was perfect for us and we hope to see you again! Thanks again for the great time and the wonderful memories!

The staff is incredibly kind and available, the room is absolute paradise, never slept so well. Bonus points for taking a warm shower surrounded by trees.

Este hotel boutique es una de las mejores experiencias "Beach Chic" de Tulum. La Zebra es un refugio de lujo divertido y animado, perfecto para los que quieren pasar unos días increíbles en la playa. Quality that you would expect from a small luxury hotel. Liked the jaccuzi and large double shower.

El Alaya bTulum by Ahau está situado junto a la playa de Tulum y alberga un restaurante. Beautiful location just next to the busy area but quiet at night, lovely rooms (although the ones on the top floor are better!), very nice and attentive staff (especially Ricardo from the beach bar). We would definitely return and recommend everyone to stay at Alaya!

The resort exceeded all our expectations. Our space was beautiful and the staff went above and beyond. The food was delicious and the service from Ivan was fantastic. We booked our airport shuttle through the resort and everything was all set for our trip. When looking for activities we received great recommendations from the concierge and arranged our transportation to see the Tulum Ruins and the Sac Actun cenote through them. We also loved having the resort pups (Lobo y Chapo) to play with during our stay.
