Jorge was very accommodating. My friend and I arrived at separate times, each with bikes in boxes. My friend arrived at 7am and Jorge let him bring his bike box inside and check in before I arrived in the evening. The room was simple but comfortable, and Jorge and his family were very helpful with whatever we needed. They even let us leave our bike boxes and suitcases there while we left for a 3 week bike trip, and then rebooked the days before our flights. The neighborhood felt very safe and there were plenty of young (university-age?) people walking around. It's a short walk to the large mall where you can go to the atm and get SIM cards if you need, as well as nice restaurants and anything else you might need. I would definitely stay here again.

Awanka Hotel, is located in San Miguel - Lima. It has a privileged location in a quiet area near the airport and in front of a park/plaza. The hotel is set next to a shopping mall and restaurants.

This is a good option for transient stays near the airport. I arrived late night around 1 to 2am but they anticipated my arrival well. The room was clean with complete basic toiletries. The breakfast was good!

Bellavista in Lima provides accommodations with a casino and a garden. There's a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.
