The owner of the place was super welcoming and informative about where to eat and visit in the area. The room was charming with antique furniture alongside a beautiful and luxurious modern bathroom. The rooms are in an old restored house with an oasis of a walled courtyard garden with many places to lounge in and out of the sun.

Clean, well-equipped apartment, close to Belém Tower and St. Jerome's Monastery. The room is comfortable, the bed is big enough, there is a small kitchen area with a fridge (but no sink). The shower cabin is a bit cramped, but usable. Everything we needed was available. Trams and buses are in front of the building, easy access to any attraction.

We loved our stay at Palacio do Governador. The property is located in a historic building and has been beautifully renovated. The spaces are beautiful inside and outside.
The staff was very helpful and friendly- the receptionist immediately asked if they could prepare breakfast box for us, since we had to depart at 4am for our morning flight. The food was delicious. We loved the indoor spa area and the huge, heated pool.
The internet worked amazingly- my husband even worked from the cabana at the outside pool. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I had a truly lovely stay at Hotel Jerónimos in Lisbon. The location is absolutely perfect – nestled in the beautiful and peaceful Belém district, just steps from the stunning Jerónimos Monastery. In my opinion, this is by far the best area to stay in Lisbon. It’s much calmer than the city center and offers a gorgeous setting for walks around the park, near the iconic Belém Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries. And the cherry on top – the oldest pasteleria in Lisbon is just a two-minute walk away, where I had breakfast every morning!
My room was clean, cozy, and had a beautiful view of the monastery. It had everything I needed as a solo traveler. The only minor downside was a faint smell from the bathroom drain, which I believe was just a temporary issue. I reported it to the staff, and I’m confident they’ve already taken care of it.
I especially want to highlight the breakfast – it was absolutely brilliant and felt very exclusive. The staff at the reception were warm and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions I had. Free street parking right in front of the hotel was a huge bonus as well.
