We had a perfect stay! The room was beautiful and unique, featuring a natural piece of rock integrated into the design — really special. The location couldn’t be better: right by the river, just a short walk to the city center and even close to a McDonald’s. Upon arrival, we received a lovely welcome gift of cookies and wine because of a supposed issue with the air conditioning (which we actually didn’t experience at all). Bruna was incredibly kind and helpful with everything — she made our stay even better.

This has to be one of the most beautiful holiday apartments I’ve ever rented. When you stand on the balcony you feel like the king of the world. The view is breathtaking, and fascinating , and endlessly changes throughout the day and the night. The square below does generate a little noise during the day and early evening, but it was quiet at night and we felt the sounds of music etc just added to the experience anyway. We often stay on the top floor of places for the view and so I’m used to stairs, but having a lift was very luxurious. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was very usable. The shower was a bit awkward for the taller one of us, but for me at 1.68 m tall it was perfect! I just loved this stay, and the host, Cristina, was so kind and attentive Very highly recommended :)

Ideally situated facing the Douro inside the historical center of the city, this exclusive b&b is full of charm. I particularly appreciated the smooth checkin despite my late reservation. I was brought to my room at the top of the building with a personal touch which made me feel at home immediately. The morning was no less pleasant with personal attention that is obviously the signature of this charming hotel.
