Our stay at the Mandarin Oriental Doha exceeded our expectations in every way. The room was beautifully designed, the perfect size, and the bedding was exceptionally comfortable, making for a wonderful night’s sleep. What impressed us most was the hospitality. Every member of the team was genuinely warm, attentive, and made us feel truly valued throughout our stay. The service at the pool was equally outstanding—we were welcomed with refreshing drinks and even complimentary sorbet, with staff constantly ensuring we had everything we needed. The breakfast deserves a special mention. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever experienced, with an outstanding selection and exceptional quality. It’s clear that the hotel genuinely cares about every detail of the guest experience, and that level of care really left a lasting impression on us.

Pearl of the Arabian Gulf

The ultra-modern Doha is best known for its busy airport, impressive skyline and stunning waterfront. With plenty of newly built sports facilities, large shopping venues and growing commercial centres, Doha is a true representative of the fast-developing Qatar.

From its old souqs (open-air markets) to new shopping malls, Doha is home to half of Qatar’s population. I loved the multi-cultural population and the fact that everyone was welcoming and friendly. I felt 100 % safe as an older woman travelling alone. I was treated with kindness and respect everywhere I went. I also thought that prices for services and goods were reasonable. And it was the cleanest city I have ever visited! The museums were superb

A city we are sleeping on! Gives gulf but with quiet luxury ! So much to do! From seeing the city, to experiencing the beaches and to some nature in the desert where the dunes meet the sea! Ofc course its never complete without the malls and restaurants! Doha, you beauty!

Doha is a modern, clean, and very safe city with excellent hospitality and world class facilities. The Corniche offers beautiful views of the skyline, while Souq Waqif provides a unique cultural experience with traditional shops and restaurants. The city is easy to navigate using taxis and the Metro system. We particularly enjoyed the luxury hotels, waterfront areas, and the high standard of customer service throughout our stay. The weather can be extremely hot during certain months, so outdoor activities are best planned for the evening. Visitors should also note that some attractions may require advance planning to fully enjoy them. For couples and families, Doha offers a great mix of culture, shopping, fine dining, and relaxation. We would highly recommend visiting Souq Waqif, Katara Cultural Village, the Museum of Islamic Art, and taking a walk along the Corniche.
