The Staff at the hotel were very helpful and pleasant to talk with very friendly and made me feel very welcome. The Breakfast buffet had a wide menu selection and all fresh cooked. The swimming pool was kept in a very good condition with a very good Cafe reasonably priced. Wasnt noisy around the pool so more comfortable. Meet and Greet service was very good and the reception staff excellent. There is a good Sushi Restaurant and parking facilities were good, the gym and spa i ddint visit but heard it was good value for money.

to be honest we did not like Dubai at all, very over-rated, concrete jungle. September it was 40C but a schedule stopover after our Europe holiday. It was very polluted despite the locals calling it dust. The architecture of the high rise was very clever and some interesting buildings. Compared to old Cities there is no competition, unless you like water parks, high end shopping centres that would take a week to skate around, fun parks etc. We would never visit again..

You knew where to go for the hussle and bustle and you knew where to go for peace and tranquility I.e watching the beautiful sunset over the sea. JBR the walk great restaurants-PH CHANGS/ Cheesecake factory/ heart attack Dubai mall-food court/ Parker’s/ gastronomy Jumped on metro, really easy to use and get around so straight forward. High light of the metro NO traffic Abu Dhabi tour is a must! Emirates palace must see with gold coffee of course. Deira- gold souk and naïf market Down town- Dubai mall/ Burj Khalifa

Dubai exceeded our expectations - we had a 3 day stay on the way home from Asia. The hotel was excellent, the ultra modern city was impressive to visit. We felt safe and welcomed visiting for the first time. Getting around using taxi's and the Careem app was easy and reasonably priced. A nighttime visit to the Burj Khalifa and it's light show was our favorite sightseeing trip. The Dubai Mall and it's aquarium was fun to see. We actually liked the location, not that far from the Emirates Mall and the Dubai Marina. It is further from the middle or the airport, but that suited us. We took Taxis to the centre and World Trade Centre which cost about £30 each way. The beach is fantastic and having a tame cat never does any harm. There were a number of restaurants on site and we stayed in a few nights.
