Good value for money. Receptionist Mohamed from Egypt was very friendly and effective. Rooms are big enough, clean, bed is confortable, shower works good. In our room there was no balcony and window couldnt be open for safety reason as they said but it was not really a problem. You could hear no noise from outside at all - this is good so you can sleep in peace. About breakfast for Europeans: dont expect European breakfast because its not. But still you can find things to eat and you wont stay hungry. There was also someone preparing fresh omelettes for each guest. Swimming pool is good. Location was really good for me but depends what you expect. If you want to stay in modern part with luxury and high buildings this property is not for you. But if you want to be in the middle of "real people" who live and work there (mostly Pakistanis, Indians...) this is a place to be. Near hotel there is plenty of cheap restaurants. If you want to go to Abu Dhabi by bus this hotel is also a great idea because less than 5 minutes walking there is a bus station called Al Ghubaiba. Also metro station is close and distance from airport is ok - this is good if you have late arrival or early departure since taxi gets you there in about 15 minutes i would say.
So if you are coming to Dubai and not planning to spend the whole day in the room i really recommend this hotel. I would gladly return.
