Great location, comfy and stylish accommodation, great facilities. We really appreciated the terrace with the bean bag bed for chilling out in the evening (night sky above your head) and the chairs and table for the breakfast that we ordered at the reception, and which got delivered to the door step. The lodge is top notch, with a proper fridge incl. freezer, a sympathetic shower and bathroom considering the total area of the lodge. It's unbelievable that everything fit in and is really good quality. Oh, and did I mention the comfy bed?

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Sheema Lodge in Hatta, and it was an unforgettable experience. The property features stunning four-bedroom accommodations with a breathtaking private pool with magnificent mountain views. The impeccable interior decor is aesthetically pleasing and comfortable, making it feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights of the lodge is the beautifully designed patio area, equipped with a Weber gas grill and ample seating for up to 12 people. This outdoor space is perfect for family gatherings or entertaining friends while enjoying the serene surroundings. What truly sets Sheema Lodge apart is the exceptional service provided by the team. Lucia, Fiona, and Judith were incredibly helpful and pleasant to deal with throughout our stay. Their dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction was evident in every interaction. Additionally, the villa owner personally reached out and was extremely helpful, even during Ramadan, when availability might be limited. Hatta is a great place to unwind and be active outdoor.

Hatta is a great place to unwind and be active outdoor. We fell in love with mountain biking and hiking. I recommend to start your day from Wadi Hub. Huge adventures hub with many activities. Lots of routes for biking and hiking for different levels. Nice zipline, lots of entertainments for kids, good cafes and juice bar. Of course it is worth to visit Hatta Dam. Especially for night kayaking. Our next favorite is the Hatta honey Bee Farm. You can get a special protective costume and visit the bees and get the real honey.

An excellent place to visit with family!

An excellent place to visit with family! We went during April, and it was just starting to get hot. We had initially planned to go trekking, but due to the heat, we decided to skip it—definitely planning to come back in the winter for that. In the meantime, we had a great time enjoying the adventure activities at Wadi Hub with GoGravity. We tried the Rover, Gel Ball (a fun shooting game), and the Tube Slide—all of which were loads of fun! We also visited the historic Falaj system—an ancient underground tunnel built thousands of years ago to channel water from the mountains to nearby farms. It was fascinating to walk through the 500-meter tunnel and see the natural spring at the end.

Hatta is at t driving distance from both Dubai and Abu Dhabi...

Hatta is at t driving distance from both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The roads are so nice and you don't feel tired. Hatta being a small and beautiful place and has lot of greenery. The resort is just off the Dubai- Hatta highway and it has a easy access at the big round about. The resort hotel staff are very professional and very polite.

Hatta is a beautiful mountain location in UAE.

Hatta is a beautiful mountain location in UAE. There are several spots for activity for kids and adults. Winter would be recommeded season. The drive around the city is very beautiful. The lakes in the city are beatuifully developed. We trekked some of the local mountains and my kids loved the experience. The 3 day trip was very much enjoyed and worth. Highly recommended.

We went there with the intention of mountain biking morning...

We went there with the intention of mountain biking morning and evening, staying in the Hatta Fort Hotel over night and mountain biking again the following morning. This was not to be, because the Wadi Hub Adventure Centre is an absolute disgrace and should not be open to the public right now. The whole place is a building site with massive holes, cables, machinery, steel works etc etc everywhere. I really cannot see how this place has remained open to the public. It is truly unsafe. I fell down a hole due to loose ground and my bike fell down the other side and this was before we even got close to starting an attempt at mountain biking. This was also a total write off because the Trails are in bad repair and the access to even get close to the trails is a dangerous nightmare. I will not be returning to Hatta to Mountain Bike any time in the future, if ever.

Quite a long drive from Dubai but lovely views and it was a quiet relaxing retreat. We were only there one night but could have easily stayed 3 nights to enjoy all the surroundings. Ate at the hotel restauarant which was nice

This property has a real charm to it. We love staying there. It’s not as flashy or pristine as some other places in Dubai but that’s part of the charm. The staff are all lovely and the activities for our 3 year old were great! It’s so peaceful and the drive out of Dubai makes it feel like a proper holiday away - without the hassle of an airport!

Overall it’s a nice place to stay but a bit pricey… the value for money is something I am not sure as you can go to a very good resort in Dubai at the same price. Staff was cooperative especially Mr. Kaleem who guided us on all the things you can do in the resort. 5 stars to Mr. Kaleem
