Coco Lanta is very well located, directly on the beach. The breakfast variety was great and the room size was decent. The bar on the beach serves the most amazing banana coladas. The staff are lovely and even went the extra mile on a birthday by providing cake at breakfast.

We really like this place. The staff is very friendly. Close to the beach, it takes 30 seconds to go from your room to the beach. Exceptional ocean view. The bar/restaurant is excellent. Large room, very large and comfy bed.

I really like how Happiness hostel is very welcoming and feels like home. The beds are the most comfortable in Thailand and it’s just a nice place overall. The location is great and everyone in the surrounding area is just really nice. I’ve already rebooked Happiness Hostel for later in my trip.

What can we say other than book this spot today! The Bungalows are all new or newly renovated in the past few years. They are impeccably designed to integrate amenities traveling guests want while also staying true to a Thailand feel. The AC unit worked like a charm! The pool area, beachfront and restaurant areas are very well laid out and so inviting! We didn't want to leave. We enjoyed two massages while on property as well that were wonderful. The massage place is directly overlooking the beach so you can hear the waves crashing. While it is more affordable to get a massage up the road, the fact that you can have it beachside is worth the extra coin. A truly nice touch! The restaurant has ample options for breakfast too! We especially enjoyed the ability to order custom smoothies. Additionally, we ate dinner here the first night of our stay and enjoyed it so much that we ate every meal at the hotel. Loved the Massaman Meatballs, Satay, Shrimp, Cashew Chicken Stir-Fry and Creme Brûlée! The owners are on site and you can sense it. They care. They want the guests to have a memorable experience. They checked in on us, made sure to always say hello. To be honest, we did not want to leave. It was hard saying goodbye to such a wonderful place. We can not wait to return and will tell all our friends to visit here as well!

I've stayed there for almost a week and it was the nicest and most welcoming stay I've had in Thailand! It's a family business where everyone does their part to make it as comfortable as possible: grandma prepares delicious thai breakfast (best pad kra pow I've had in 2 months in thailand), grandpa and uncle always there to greet you with a smile, wish you a nice day and force you to take a free cold water every now then when it's too hot outside, and finally Baiyok smoothly taking care of all the questions and the practical stuff, and giving all the great tips (about Lanta but also different parts of thailand) with her perfect English. It's a new business, and the rooms are very new and spacious, extremely clean with amenities provided. Also, there's a chilling lounge area and free coffee, tea and snacks. You can also rent a scooter (very efficiently) there for cheap, and it's in a perfect location with a very cozy and cheap local Thai restaurant just across the street with amazing food and good prices, Irie bar with great live music just around the corner, and a 5 minute walk to long Beach and everything you need. I'd definitely go back next time I'm in koh lanta! Thanks for the most amazing stay!!

We had such a wonderful stay here, I can’t recommend enough. The host is so lovely and accommodating. Such a beautiful human. Honestly I will come back just to see her again! The grounds of the property is very pretty with a garden and stepping stones. We were upgraded to superior room which was luxurious The complex is in a quiet and peaceful spot, across the road from a local beach and 5 minute drive to long beach. In walking distance to the animal centre and restaurants.
