Well located in the Hyde Park area and close to public transport. Beautiful neighborhood and close to lovely coffee shops and bars. The apartment stayed cool even on the hottest days and without AC on. Chilled filtered water provided. Plenty of parking. Hosts were excellent in their communication.

We had a great stay at Strickland's. The house is a beautiful historic landmark in a very nice Austin neighborhood (Hyde Park), and the Stricklands did everything to make us feel at home, even having a mobile petting zoo on the day of our arrival (OK, I admit, it was for their granddaughter's birthday, but still great). Sandy's homemade biscuits for breakfast are a real treat. We'll be back the next time we travel to Austin!

Staff were friendly, rooms were clean, breakfast and the evening snacks were great. Pool was clean and a good guest laundry room. There is construction going on but overall I think the hotel manages it well

All the staff were super helpful. The room was large and the grounds were really in tune with Texas-style. Open fires, a pool, games... the bar had live music on the weekends. All round great atmosphere.

The room was really big. Allowed for us to leave our suitcases open, and not be in the way. It was nice to cook our own food if we wanted, and keep groceries in the fridge. Location was perfect for us! Also, having a safe in room was nice.
