Very cute, clean, beautiful palace, wonderful breakfast. So close to Monterey Bay Aquarium! My favorite hotel during my two week Central CA vacation!! The front desk representative during the day was FABULOUS!

This property checked off all our wants and needs: clean, affordable, location, on-site (free!) parking, and comfort. Located within walking distance of Cannery Row without being right in the Row. It seemed to be right in the middle with the Fisherman’s Wharf being a 15-20 min walk away on one end and the Aquarium being 10-15 walk on the other (depending how fast you walk and if you stop to admire the views or shop). Either way, the pedestrian walking/running and biking paths make it easy to get where you’re going. It’s an easy walk to other town restaurant favorites not on the Row too for more reasonably priced options). The breakfast the property offers is plentiful, with both hot foods and breads/cereals, and coffee and tea available all day. There is a heavily traveled road is right at the rear of the property, so if you’re a light sleeper, the rooms towards the back may not do. However, my husband is definitely a light sleeper but it didn’t bother him at all (must have been all the walking!) Our room was newly renovated and the property is doing a room to room renovation which they did inform us of upon booking. However, all work was done when guests were out so noise was never an issue nor did it cause any obstruction.
