A very well restored piece of history, very confortable and with a great friendly staff. The bed was confortable, the bathroom (with a bath tube included) huge snd the staff friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

The room was superb, very clean and in excellent condition. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great too! The white noise machine (part of the clock) was a great bonus! Having stayed in Midtown during previous trips, staying in the Upper West Side was a welcome change. The location is excellent. The hotel is less than 10 minutes from Central Park and Subway stations. Loads of great bars and restaurants close by.

Set in New York, 1.2 km from National September 11 Memorial & Museum, Artezen Hotel has a fitness centre and rooms with free WiFi access. The hotel and the staff was just unbelievable! The location was perfect, we felt so safe in the middle of the financial district and this was most important to us as we are 2 girls traveling. The staff was so incredibly helpful and friendly, they helped us out a lot and were always really friendly without being too pushy. I can recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in the budget but get so much for it! The metro is also just next to the hotel and you're in walking distance of so many cool restaurants/take aways/the financial district which is incredible at night to walk through. I don't think I have ever been this satisfied with a hotel!

We loved the friendly and happy design of the hotel and rooms; it was extravagant and gave a good feeling. Employees especially concierge have been very helpful and friendly. we loved the walking distance to central park in the morning and the live jazz evening in the hotel bar for evening. i was surprised about the silence in the rooms, especially since we have been so centrally located. We loved our terrace to sit in the mornings or evenings. we will be back again!

The Gallery House features free WiFi throughout the property and views of city in New York. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the street outside was quiet. The owner Mark was very friendly and helpful. There was signs of some light work done in the room just before my stay but this was explained by the owner and was to install a new air conditioning system that could be controlled within the room. The metro station was close to the property and always felt safe walking between them.
