I’ve stayed in various places while travelling but Dormy Inn has my heart. It is a bit pricy but for everything me and my family got to experience, money well spent. We will definitely be frequent visitors of this chain when we visit Japan again in the future. The best was the public onsen and sauna inside. I didn’t even use much of my personal room’s bathroom.

Requiring guests to take off their shoes after checking in and roaming the hotel shoe-free was very exciting. Onsen was nice. Having breakfast in hotel-provided clothing was also nice. The neighborhood hotel is located was also nice. Good places to eat just around the corner. I recommend taking a walk around.

The hotel is genuinely old and rooms are not the freshest but there is ice cream, ramen and drinks as part of the package and their onsen is a bliss! We loved it.

A 3-minute walk from Kyoto Station and Kyoto Tower, Dormy Inn Premium Kyoto Ekimae Natural Hot Spring offers rooms with free internet. It features large natural hot spring baths, a sauna and massages.... Wow, this was one of our favourite city hotels. The room was surprisingly big and very comfortable. The onsen was gorgeous, I was able to go in with tattoos because they provided covers. They had all kinds of free amenities - we took more popsicles from outside the onsen than I'd care to admit. They were SO good. The location was very convenient and there was parking for a cost for the one night we had a rental car.
