Make sure to get dinner because the food is amazing, everything is homegrown and homemade. The hosts are also super nice and friendly. True relaxation for the body and soul. Would love to come back!

The stay at Bujtina Maria was truly special. We did not realize that we had not booked an accomodation in the city of Gjirokastra, but the county Gjirokastra. We were so happy to discover this place though, it has the most relaxing atmosphere being in the countryside with the view on the mountains. The dinner was so authentic and extremely delicious. Same for the amazing breakfast. The family running the hotel were the nicest hosts. Highly recommend their place if you are travelling towards Gjirokastra city, we went to visit it the next morning after having a great calming break at Bujtina Maria.
