The garden was lovely, we had safe undercover storage for our bikes and free on site parking. Jean Pierre and Marie were excellent hosts and the dog was super friendly. A small fridge with a selection of drinks all reasonably priced in our room was replenished daily. The breakfast was amazing with so much choice and we were given homemade cakes to take on our rides. All the preserves at breakfast were homemade and we also had jam and cookies as a gift in our room. There were plenty of toiletries in the bathroom together with fresh towels everyday and bath robes.

Tranquil location, though you do need a car as it is in the countryside. Very charming atmosphere for families and couples. Quiet at night. The breakfast was very good.

A perfect stop off for our family of 4 before catching the morning ferry back to the UK from Dunkirk. The room was extremely clean and modern, the host very nice, and the freshly prepared breakfast was lovely. Situated just outside Veurne, it is very quiet, but within easy reach of the numerous restaurants in the town centre for an evening meal.
Boasting a hot tub, Vakantiehuisje aan de Ijzer is situated in Diksmuide. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, hairdresser's and hot tub.

Well-appointed property in a central location within the town. Close to 24 hour vending machines, bakery and supermarkets. The bedrooms are fantastic, containing very large beds which appear to be equipped with luxury mattresses. The garden even has a hot-tub!

This venue would be really nice for a family with young children for an extended visit. The enclosed campus with playgrounds in the middle felt really lovely and safe. The triple bunk beds were suitable for small children and the master bed was comfortable. The family lounge/kitchen/dinner was practical and appreciated design if we were staying for a week of holiday. Lots of light and a safe balcony with space for two to sit and relax and watch the sun rise/set. Space to walk around with the dog and chat with other families also relaxing or watching their kids. The roof had a small fridge and microwave.

We are a family of 4 staying in a room with a double bed and a bunk bed. There is plenty of room for the four of us. The bunk bed is a good size and big enough for my 13 year old. (Why can't more family rooms have bunks instead of sofa beds)? The room is clean and the breakfast is good. There are no photos of the carpark, but because the hotel is just outside of town, the parking spaces are very generous. They are large enough to take a bike trailer with 4 bikes and we see a few cars with bikes. It's a short walk to the town centre for food. The town itself is lovely and both the town and the walk feels very safe for families.
