It was good value for the money, the owners and all the staff were very helpful, welcoming, and friendly, and the room was spotless. The food was tasty and affordable, the wi-fi worked well, and the view was beautiful. Perfect parking spots. We were there for the Rose Festival and I can say it's an ideal location, even though it's 50 minutes away from Kazanlak. I saw comments that the road leading there is not good but this is not true, we found it quite ok. The yard is generous and well-kept. We didn't see the pool (didn't ask where it was), so there's nothing to comment on.

I was in the area to visit the Buzludzha Monument, and this hotel is right at the top of Shipka Pass, which means it was right at the start of one of the two roads up to the monument. I was there between seasons, and the proprietor basically opened up just for me, had a nice room waiting with a heater, and made me a lovely bowl of soup. Looks like this place would be super fun during trekking season, with a bar restaurant and game room, huge wood burning stove and pool table. Great off the beaten track experience, would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Very cozy, new and clean apartment. The bedroom is little bit in a basement which is perfect in the summer as the temperature there is much lower than up and outside! Still it has a window and it doesn’t feel like in a basement at all :) Fridge is full of drinks and freezer full of ice cream. Great location just a few meters from the center.
