We extended our stay - see previous review. In addition, the breakfast was lovely, served in the pretty inner courtyard, and very good value- we had Calabresa (Brazilian sausage) which is now our favourite. Also our kitchen was very well equipped with gas stove top and everything we needed to cook meals. We had WI-FI that was a great surprise and was perfectly good for us. We highly recommend staying here - and the hosts are very helpful and generous.

I really liked the professionalism and kindness of the staff. To make a long story short, I was traveling for work with my ngo and spent two weeks at Waira. About halfway into our stay, my group experienced a series of unlucky situations. Even when I was admittedly presumptuous of the staff, they all did nothing but help us with our issues with a smile. The staff at this hotel are incredibly kind and caring, and I would highly recommend their abilities and nature to anyone who looks into that part of staying at a hotel.

Lovely new hotel, comfortable rooms, lots of communal space, including kitchen, living room and washing machine! Particularly appreciated after returning from the jungle... Really nice, helpful staff.

I really liked the staff. I spent only one night in Leticia on my way to San Martin and the man in the reception informed me about a lot of free activities in Leticia Moreover I really liked how they cared about ecoturism and informed me about their measures Plus I loved their cat Marcel <3

- A very modest accommodation but easily in the top 5% of the places I’ve ever visited when it comes to cleanliness - The owner, Javier, did his best to communicate with me and to help with everything I wanted even though we had to use translator 99% of the time - Javier organized all the trips for me and made many calls to book boat rides, planned trips and accommodations at other destinations for me - I received valuable advice about the realistic level of the price of certain services - thanks to this, I managed to negotiate at least a 50% discount in many cases and found amazing places to eat at (not only in Leticia but also in Brazil and in Peru) - Javier gave me free rides to the meeting points of organized tours or even to the airport, even though that was absolutely not his responsibility as a host
